Awful service! My wife went to Kentucky Tailors today to pick up some clothes she had dropped off for alterations. She bought a few things while she was in the store and ended up spending over $ 70. As she was about to leave, she asked if they had anything for kids. The lady at the store showed her a few things, and my wife decided to buy a kite for $ 9. As she was getting ready to pay, the lady said «We’ll have to charge you an additional dollar because this transaction is under $ 10». So my wife politely remarked «I just spent over $ 70 here and I’m going to spend an additional $ 9; you’re insistent on getting $ 1?». But the lady refused to budge. My wife was not thrilled (not because she had to pay a dollar but because of the rudeness) but didn’t want to make a scene so she was about to pay the extra $ 1, when another lady that worked there, remarked «You can void the earlier transaction and she can pay for all of it together». The grumpy lady was not pleased at all. She uttered begrudgingly «You don’t have to pay the $ 1. We’ll waive it» — with that, she stuffed the kite hurriedly into a bag, didn’t make eye contact with my wife and didn’t say a word when she left. Are you kidding me? You are getting so worked up over $ 1 that you behave rudely and completely defenestrate your manners?

This place is great. Kyla really knows what she’s doing, and their prices are very fair. I recommend all my friends to go here.
