No wonder KFC had to close nearly 200 stores a few years back. Horrible. And these people want $ 15 an hour? Are you joking? Go here on a Friday night. It was busy, as expected, about 5 cars ahead of me in the drive thru. When I drove by, it appeared only two people were working. Not really staffed for a Friday aka«pay day». Finally it’s my turn to order. I ordered a number four with wedges. I’m told a 6 – 8 minute wait… What? You don’t have any ready? So, I had to wait nearly 8 minutes in the drive thru. Now another wait? No thanks. I drove off. No wonder Chick-fil-a is killing KFC in sales and customer service.

The five dollar fill-ups are the best and defintely perfect for a quick lunch! The staff at this location is always very friendly and keep the tables very clean. The only thing they should improve on is the temperature of their biscuits, for some reason they are always really cold. Other than that, the chicken is great!

This location has terrible service. They NEVER get my drive thru order correct. Ever. Even when I’ve gone inside to order they tried giving me half original and half crispy when I ordered crispy. When I try to call and let them know my order was wrong no one answers the phone. The only saving grace is the chicken. Always check your order before you leave the window no matter how much they rush you.

It may seem obvious but the one thing they do well here is their regular chicken. Don’t go for the chicken popcorn or tenders– they are mostly breading and dry chicken bits. The five dollar fill up has made this restaurant a lot more accessible than it was before. Instead of getting tons of food and having to take it home to eat we just each get our own little meal for a very reasonable price. My husband loves that it comes with a fresh baked cookie. So get a breast or 2 piece leg five dollar fill up when you go.

Last nite ordered 12 piece chicken meal. The chicken pieces were large enough but not a lot of meat. The two sides were mediocre. Bland mashed potatoes with strange tasting gravy and cole slaw with almost no dressing added in. The biscuits were good. Took too long to complete my order and they were out of extra crispy so 13 minute wait. In my opinion I got a bland unoriginal meal a terrible value at $ 29.14.

My fiancée has always wanted to eat in a KFC in Kentucky, so we found ourselves here before a show. This was, to be sure, the nicest KFC I’ve ever been to– large, spacious, mostly clean. Service was fine. I ordered the famous bowl and I’ve got to admit, it was tasty. Altogether, typical greasy but tasty fast food meal from the KFC we’ve come to know and love.

It was Christmas Eve, and I was in Louisville visiting my grandmother(and the rest of my extended family). It was approaching dinner time and we were starving! So we drove up and down Bardstown Road looking for places to eat(which were all closing rapidly among the 6o’clock hour– including Steak N Shake!) and low and behold– the lights were on at KFC(KFC in Kentucky, hell they should be open 8 days a week!)! One of my uncles, my grandma and I went in… This was also the first time I have been to a KFC in a long time… This one had the buffet option, and it also had LCD screens for menus! I thought, alright this is promising, until we ordered! I wish those LCD screens could be updated(AKA4 screens and they were out of 3 screens worth of food) so I wouldn’t keep ordering out of stock items(as I am realizing the 2 a-holes in front of us ordered over 60 pcs of chicken, which pretty much drained the place). I ended up getting some chicken tenders and a biscuit. They finally came after about 20 – 30 minutes. It was Christmas Eve and I was with family– I played it cool(although I wanted to eat like 10X more food) — the staff was very friendly, I think just the fact of getting bumrushed by 2HUGE orders threw them off. This review could go either way, but at the end of the day– they were open when no one else was, and they had hot food(not much) to share, I may have to check out that buffet the next time I go to KY… It was a great way to start off the Christmas weekend!

Greasy fried chicken just what we would expect at a KFC. Finger licking… good not so much.
