Not only is this possibly the coolest wall in Nulu… but it is also a great gallery that displays some of Louisville’s local art and artists. It also has some really wonderful children’s special events, which of course I love as it helps to instill the importance and enjoyment of art at an early age!

The local speed is interesting, fun and free. I like the special children’s events which are a fun thing to do with the kiddos on an otherwise boring Saturday. Also, since the displays change on a monthly basis, it would be a nice place to revisit from time to time while venturing to other NULU attractions. The staff that I met were friendly and helpful.

Now, I can scratch that off my Louisville Bucket List. I recommend everyone go to this location while the Speed Museum is still being renovated. I asked if this location will stay open after the museum opens back up and they’re not sure. They said they’ve done very well so hopefully they will. The staff was so friendly and explained everything perfectly. Our favorite part was the Art vending machine. This is a fun place and right in the heart of the NuLu district.
If you are partaking in the Cultural Pass with your children this summer, this is one of the locations. The current exhibit is the Art of the Streets in Paris and the pictures are beautiful and really take you back in time.

Loved seeing local artists showcasing their work at Local Speed during the First Friday Trolley Hop in NuLu. cant wait to see what the next exhibition will bring!
