We started coming here because of the dog park located here. Recently I’ve been taking advantage of the trail. It’s just under a mile long. Great for running laps or walking with your dogs. I have some very big cons with this park though: –Just because a park is dog friendly does not mean letting your dog off leash is acceptable or legal! My dog is extremely timid and does not like to be approached by other dogs. The great majority of the off leash camp here is not sensitive to other dogs’ space. They will tell me their dog is friendly, or attempt to call their dog back without success, or not do anything. All the while my dog is freaking out and I’m trying to get their dog away from us. It gets extremely frustrating. Some are considerate though which is very much appreciated. Also on that point, be extremely wary of a man with two off lead Rhodesian Ridgebacks. He pays no attention to them, sometimes even reading a book while he walks them. They are very intense and will stalk and go after your dogs. I’ve had a close encounter with them, so I now make sure to leave if I see them coming. Others have warned me they have had similar issues with him. –The trail is an old golf course trail. It dead ends in multiple places. You will have to turn around and try again until you remember what goes through and what doesn’t. It actually doesn’t go all the way around even. The path ends near the back of the dog park, requiring you to walk on tall grass to get back to the parking lot. –It floods here very quickly and water sits for days if we’ve had a bad rain. Because the trail ends suddenly you will get your shoes and socks soaking wet! Either turn around and go all the way around or don’t come on a rainy day! –Do not leave an valuables out in your car and park near the dog park entrance where there are a lot of people and cars. There is a long history of break-ins at this park. Be aware and you will be okay. Even with all those cons, we keep coming back. It is usually not too crowded, close to my house, and my dogs love it too!

Never been here before, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great location for Louder Than Life, and I hope this is the same location for next year.

For a concert venue has tons of potential. Louder than life was the bucket list of shows for me. Great two day event with many annoying glitches but it’s their freshman year. They will get it right next time. More to come.
