It’s something else to do in Louisville. I don’t think it’s that great, honestly. It’s very small and the music is extremely loud. It’s hard to speak to anyone without shouting. I think I counted like 9 or 10 tents. Some of them are food tents selling overpriced baked goods and gyros. They also had a couple of souvenir tents that have cheesy, made in China gifts that resemble Mars Hill or something. Really not that great. All in all — average. Not great. Not terrible. It’s something to do. It fills the void when you have nothing else going on.

Ok it’s fun to do something different. Although I thought there wld be more foods vendors. The food was good although could have done wo the standard green beans and rice and bread on the side of the meatball dinner. Get that stuff all the time. I did like the dancing and the amount of children involved in the performance outside. Also there was not enough shaded areas. Be overall something different to do in louisville!

It never fails that the greek festival comes on the hottest, most humid weekend of the year! This year didn’t disappoint. The food and entertainment are always great. This year didn’t disappoint. I stopped by Saturday afternoon after working some OT. I had to have an order of Dolmathes, Mousakka, Spanikopita, some green beans and a mythos beer. I loved the food and the entertainment. Only disappointment was not having Mister and a Love with me. I encourage all within reading distance to make the trek next summer to Louisville’s Belvedere of the Greek Festival!
