Pretty good from a truck! Always excited when I see these guys.

Don’t be afraid of sushi from a food truck! It’s some of the best sushi you’ll have and is kept at the appropriate temperature to keep you safe. It understandable that you may be a little hesitant, but this truck is definitely up to snuff! Service is fast, prices are reasonable and they have quality seafood. Everytime I see them by my office I try to run out an place an order, I’ve yet to order anything I don’t like. The spicy tuna roll or rainbow roll are my favs! And don’t forget about the cucumber salad! Thinly sliced cucumbers in ponzu sauce– a perfect, light salad for any hot summer day!

I ate sushi off of a truck. People are offended by this but honestly, it was good sushi. It was well-prepared, tasty, and I am still living to tell the tale. They had a wide variety of sushi and other tasty foods. Most recently I had the opportunity to eat their food at the Unilocal event before Derby where they used bourbon in their sushi. It was great, and I am glad I was able to try things out. I also liked that the truck had their information clearly presented and easy to read, it didn’t take a long time to get my food, and they were friendly. Not every truck wins on this issue. Also, the food came out in the appropriate amount of time — not too quick(it’s sushi) but not too long. One time, at a food truck, they took so long that I forgot I had ordered food.

Sushi that is made with the freshest ingredients. California roll is less than $ 5.00. Quick & delicious. Try the spicy mayonnaise.

I forgot my lunch today and was so excited to see that the Sushi Truck was less than 2 blocks from my office.(Usually when I crave sushi they’re by the UofL dental school) I was starving and wasn’t sure what to get so I went with a rainbow roll and a tuna roll. They’re specialty rolls are massive so next time I’ll be sure to only get one. Good sushi is hard to find around Louisville, and so far the best I’ve had is from this food truck!

Obsessed is the only word I can think of to describe my love for the sushi truck. Each day they post on Facebook where they’ll be, and I always cross my fingers that it’s close to my office. I’ve never been disappointed by the sushi truck. Delicious, fresh sushi and friendly service every time. You definitely get your money’s worth with all of the rolls. I typically will order two rolls(because, why not!!). I’ve ordered the Yum Yum roll($ 6), Philadelphia roll($ 6), and Derby roll($ 9). I’m actually headed there for lunch today!

Yummy! I wasn’t expecting to get to enjoy Shakespeare and sushi at one time, how fun! Just got a simple yum yum roll, but it was tasty and it hit the spot. Fresh ingredients. Hope to run into this truck again!

For sushi from a truck, it was delicious. In fact… you don’t even need the qualifier«from a truck»…for sushi, it was delicious! My problem with my «visit»(is that what you call it when it’s a food truck at a street festival???) was that they totally forgot my order. Like… I placed my order, I paid, and then I waited. And waited. And waited. And saw not only people who ordered right at the same time as me get their rolls… but also the people who had ordered about 10 minutes *after* me get their rolls. When I first tried to get their attention about this, they just kept taking orders from other people… kind of ignoring me(I wasn’t cutting in line… I was trying to get my FOOOOD). After I finally did get their attention and remind them of what I ordered and was still waiting for… the roll was handed to me fairly quickly. They might need a better system of keeping the orders on track… or maybe the issue was I paid with cash and therefore didn’t have a receipt and they didn’t have a record of my order…

Sushi. out of a truck? I know. I know. But it was GOOD. I got the California and Philly rolls. I decided go basic and see what the quality was from there. It was very fresh and made right there in front of you. Loved the salmon in the Philly roll. Only suggestion, as another reviewer said, some of the rolls where loose. However that didn’t stop it from being eaten! I say give this place a try. Its vary comparable to some of the popular b&m sushi restaurants.

I ran into the Louisville Sushi Truck at Apocalypse Brew Works and I’m glad I did. I, like the majority of human beings, was hesitant to purchase raw fish from a food truck, but it’s less of a food truck and more of a sushi bar on wheels. They have the same style case as a sushi bar and they keep the windows mostly closed so it stays nice and cool on the inside. Everything is made fresh, right before your eyes. They have a very nice selection of nigiri, the usual rolls(tuna, philadelphia, etc), and some interesting specials. My boyfriend and I split the spicy tuna, philadelphia, and white tuna special. My favorite was the white tuna roll with thinly-sliced lime on top, although the roll itself could have been made a bit tighter. Their prices were very reasonable($ 6-ish for regular rolls, $ 9 – 10 for special rolls) and I will definitely grab them again if I see them!

Spotted this truck outside of my office building on Main Street today. Initially, I was thinking what I’m sure most of you are thinking-«Sushi from a truck? Naw, son!» But I decided to live on the edge and give it a go. They have a really good size menu to be a food truck, and the prices were reasonable. I got two Philadelphia rolls(salmon, cream cheese and avocado) and they were $ 6 each. They were fresh and tasty! I didn’t have to wait long for my food to be made, which was great since I don’t have a long lunch break! Your rolls come with soy sauce and disposable chopsticks. I love sushi, so I’ll definitely be on the lookout for this truck again soon.
