I was here yesterday, visiting from Chicago. Was on the lookout for an electric wine bottle opener. Could not find one anywhere! A little old lady in the crystal department searched all over and finally found me one locked in a glass case in the wrong department. She was very helpful and just so sweet after all her work I had to buy the thing… which i was going to anyway. Also got an armload of Martha Stewart stuff. I can never turn her down. This is a good place to shop in Louisville… if only they’d get a Nordstrom!

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Louisville, KY
Average, upper-middle class department store. At Jefferson Mall, I’d say this store ties with its across-the-corridor neighbor, Dillards, with having the highest qualify(and highest priced) merchandise. Funny… In some cities, Macys is low-end. In Louisville, it’s high-end. This is a two level store. While the fixtures and some architectural details have been updated over the years, there is still some remnants of an early 80s remodel lingering… doesn’t mix well. Good note: I do enjoy swinging by this store, while at the mall, to take in the nice selection of kitchen essentials… a lot of Martha Stewart goodies.
