Great bar for some tourist fun! Aaron Rodgers showed up so that was a plus. Bartenders were friendly and drinks were good!

PBR is a fun place for dancing and country music! Its open late and the DJ does know how to mix the music and read the crowd. Drinks were good, a bit small but not overpriced. This was the second time I was there and I always have a great time!(but I go back and forth between Tengo Sed, PBR, and the other nightclub there). If you are on 4th street you must at least try PBR and see what it’s all about!

Ok, where to start? We came here to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday. Who can’t have fun at a country bar? I love to country dance and know quite a few line dances. It was surprising to see that it was more a hip hop club with country music. People were all over the dance floor with their drinks. Which never happens where I’m from. It’s to hard to dance with sticky drinks spilled on the floor.

No difference between this place and a strip club. Heard that the manager had sex with a patron in one of the vip booths after hours. EW! Drinks are overpriced and disgusting. You don’t even have to be a real bartender to work here. Just have tits. The mechanical bull is stupid and the music is stupid(seriously go two weekends in a row. They play the same songs in the same order ALWAYS).

I entered PBR against every nerve in my body saying, «don’t do it!» and honestly I wouldn’t have lost sleep that night if I didn’t go in there. My fiancé and I had been having a night on the town and while we were wandering around the area we heard the desparetly-seeking-attention-drunken-sorority-girls screaming in PBR. They were woo-girls for sure. Anyways, we decided to check it out because I saw that girls were dancing on the dance floor and I thought perhaps I would jump in for a dance or two and get the blood flowing. There were girls dancing on the bar, guys staring up her tight ass shorts and the music was so loud I thought my eardrums were about to burst. Essentially, that’s the only thing you need to know because this place is so simplistic that it can’t help but attract simplistic people(I apologize, I’m not trying to be rude, but there’s better ways to have fun). Honestly, if you want to go for dancing and see hot chicks then go to a strip bar. The dance floor was big, but the music was not good so dancing wasn’t much of a thrill unless of course you love Taylor Swift and even more Taylor Swift. We didn’t even order a drink because they were way over-priced and that was for crappy beers. I consider myself a more mature person so perhaps that is why I find pretty much everything about this bar displeasing but hey, perhaps you want to let your hair down and get past all the other little annoyances — in that case, more power to ya.

I have been here several times with some of them being ok and others just making me want to leave almost right away. The eye candy is divine which is why we always stay longer but it’s almost more annoying than going to a strip club. Girls walking around with shots they are trying to sell, they don’t take no for an answer. I had one girl grab my mouth and pour a shot down it then demand 5 $. Needless to say we left after that experience.

This was also my second time coming here. I am also not a BIG fan of country at all, but somehow PBR makes it fun. Plus you can dance on the bar and ride the bull, which always makes for a fun night. The drinks aren’t no more pricier than any place in my opinion. I will more than likely make more trips to PBR.

$ 4 cans of Bud Light I can deal with, what I could not deal with was the Jerk Off DJ who thought it was funny to talk every 10 seconds during a song. Literally, he could not help himself, he would start a song and then put in his own lyrics the entire length of the song. At first it was just annoying then it got to the point where I wanted to go up to the booth and blast this wanna be rap singer in the mouth, and that’s another thing. This is the PBR bar and this guy plays a ton of rap music, he interrups the country music with rap songs and then flexes his arms to show his bitch muscles. How this Douche bag still has a job I don’t know, but I am here with a big group and I am telling them not to go the PBRRAPMUSICBAR!!!

When I first walked into this place I was a little bit nervous and honestly overwhelmed… On the one hand, I think a country theme at a bar is a perfectly natural thing — a little whiskey and some Hank Williams may be one of the only scientifically proven cures to a broken heart and are alright by me any day. With that being said, anything that is forced like girls dancing on bar tops and a mechanical bull ala Urban Cowboy seems a little bit hokey and lame these days. The few times I have been here the clientele also left something to be desired — a lot of deep V frat boys and young kids who have no appreciation for the nuance and subtlety that make a bar special. There is no denying that this place attracts beautiful woman it also attracts a lot of douche to the bags. If I was single and in my twenties I would probably enjoy this place more. Sean’s gettin’ older folks. Shit…

Cold beer /HOT babes. Need more? It’s on the second level so you can stand amongst all the beautiful women and look down on all the beautiful women. And if you want to take a break from that you can drink your cold beer and watch a beautiful woman straddle the mechanical bull and buck all night long. Lots of bucking. Bucking beautiful!

Good vibe, good musicians, the sound system could be better, the staff was nice to me. I liked the sex on the beach drink. Overall a good experience.

There really is no mystery what this bar is about. The difference is after a few visits the people at PBR make it a point to remember you and make a point to let you know thanks for coming back. Last go round we reserved a table for about 15 people and many had the option to come and go. No one left. Closed it down and a great time. While the bull is not my thing the music certainly is. It is crowded and that should tell you a fair amount. I make it a point to see the guys at PBR whenever in the ‘ville.

If I could give this dump a zero I would. F*** this place. The DJ is a slob who plays 45 seconds of a song before yelling«everybody SCREAM!» and abruptly cutting to another song. Also likes calling out anyone who is well dressed and trying to show them up. Newsflash douche– you work at PBR slinging s***y tunes for a crowd of hoes and bros with affliction shirts. I think I’ve seen this crowd before while visiting prison and on Panama city spring break circa 2004. Also, be up to date on your shots before rolling in here. I may have to get tested for VD because I touched the bar. Arby’s could find and endless supply of sandwich meat at this God forsaken s***hole. DONOTGO. Sully’s is 10 times better and you don’t have to deal with douchey, steroided, backne having bouncers and bartenders.

Make sure your Hepatitis vaccine is up to date. This place is gross. My friends and I were in town for a fun weekend and stopped by 4th St Live. Walked into this place and it was sensory overload — too loud, too bright, smelled like urine. This place is definitely not attempting to attract the female crowd. The girl at the beer tub was about as intelligent as a shoe. We ordered beers that she dumped into a plastic cup that was less than 12 oz and says«I can’t serve you bottles. But, if you want to take the bottle to drink what’s left in it, you can.» So, she fills it to the top, spilling quite a bit of it, and then hands us the cup and the forbidden bottle. We ordered three beers, she serves us two and then hands the third to a guy next to us. He takes a drink, hands it back to her and reports that he didn’t order it and then she hands the same beer to us and expected us to pay for it. She then argued with us when we told her we wanted a different beer and said we didn’t need to be b*tches about it. I think her pleather chaps were too tight. The place needs a good scrub down — including their waitstaff. Not that I go to Louisville often, but I’ll make sure I avoid this place if I do.

The only good thing about this place is they serve tall boy PBR’s. That’s it. The mechanical bull is a waste of time. The operator kicks guys and non skimpy clothes wearing girls off in a heart beat, but of course leaves the girls in short skirts and very tight shirts on for a long time to play to the crowd. Music selection is better then what the bar used to be, but with all the TV’s around it doesn’t have a single country vibe going on in it.

Bikini bull riding and Jello wrestling contests… PBR is the loudest sausagefest at 4th Street Live during the week. Overpriced drinks and bar staff who could care less about non-locals. Sure, PBR is a lot of fun on weekends, but stay away during the week unless you’re with a large group.

Exactly what this town needs, a true country bar, now as long as they stick to their theme it is a reason to go to 4th st. Almost the entire night they played all country music, then after 11 they started throwing in a few hip-hop songs. If you learn one thing from Saddle Ridge, it should be that people want a country bar, not a country bar til 11pm but stay country all night. I have a feeling they will give in to the pressure to play more hip-hop after 11pm like Saddle Ridge did and that would be a huge mistake. If I wanted that kind of music I would walk over to Tengo which was completely empty. Great remodel, nice layout with much cooler bar setup. The employees are fast friendly and very enthusiastic which only adds to the experience. Once they start live country music and stick to their theme they could have a great bar.
