I have purchased shoes here twice so far. As a casual runner(10 – 20 miles /week), I always appreciate the knowledge and advice of the staff at Runner’s Roost. They’re low-pressure, they won’t force any fancy analytics or gear on you. I was able to take my time trying on and running(outside!) in every shoe Seth suggested before making my choice. I ended up with shoes I love both times, and you can’t beat their exchange guarantee if they don’t work out. Their prices are reasonable, especially considering the expert advice that comes along with them. Thanks Runner’s Roost!

Stopped in for a few minutes. Salespeople were quick to help, friendly, and knowledgable the shoes. Both also went out of their way to help me find routes in the area. Definitely worth stopping in for your running needs. Also: great selection of gu type gel packs, with a variety of brands and flavors. Its amazing how hard it can be to find gu packs…

All the employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a very nice selection of footwear and If they don’t have your size or the color you want, they’ll order it for you. The gait analysis on the treadmill is also a plus. And then, they have the weekly Wednesday runs which are so much fun. Vendors come, we get to try running gear, there are raffles, special sales and we even are treated to snacks and drinks after the run, how great is that? I definitively recommend Runners Roost in Louisville, whether you are a beginner of an experienced runner!

This is the best running specialty store in the area. They have everything you need whether you are training for a race or you just need a good pair of shoes. I would highly recommend the treadmill video analysis. Patrick Rizzo was very helpful, and he will spend time with you to make sure you get the best shoes for your stride.
