Sonic Drive-In

Waited 10 minutes at drive thru for someone to answer and once they did I had to repeat my order three times. This place needs to get it together maybe new management will help

I just wanted some damn chili cheese fries. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to take my order it’s bullshit. The dude taking my order smoked a cigarette right before preparing my food. The people working there are crusty. I do not recommend eating here!

Waiting for someone to even take my order was a pain… I have been sitting here for 15 minutes waiting. I started out at the drive up and ended up in the drive thru yelling at the microphone for someone to answer me. There is one car hop and I look up and there is food on the table and she is on her phone. Get with it!

I have eaten at SONIC before but have never had to wait this long. I ordered two CORNDOGS and a BLAST SHAKE and my friend ordered a $ 5 meal. After waiting 20min the worker in the speaker to order your food said that he wasn’t able to make a BLAST shake and that he broke the machine having the shake go all over him. He said that I could order another shake but not from the BLAST choices, What’s the difference? Probably that the BLAST takes too long to make again and that he doesn’t want to make another one. He said that the machine broke but whatever. After waiting another 10min the worker comes with the food. While giving us the meal he complains about the machine and his day, when we should’ve been the ones complaining since it took 30min for cheap fast food! The CORNDOGS were good and the shake wasn’t too great and the whip cream on the shake made me want to throw up. Very upset with my experience! #ImaYelpCritic

Terrible experience. We came for dinner with the family. Ordered a burger… No burgers. Ordered a footling coney. They went ahead with that order. Ordered 2 chicken strip kids meals and my husband ordered wings. The gentleman came back over the intercom a few moments later saying they were out of chili and would I like anything else for free. I told them a New York dog and they said okay. They did not take my meal off, though.
When the order came to the car we were missing a kids meal but didn’t have time to tell the car hop as she ran off with our card to pay our bill. She came back and said our card wouldn’t run (it has a small blemish on the strip so it sometimes causes trouble). She tried running it again and wouldn’t work and asked if we had another card. (We do not) so she went to speak with management.
She came back with the receipt and we explained we did not have our second kids meal… She was annoyed by this and said she would tell someone. They came over the intercom a few minutes later and asked what we were missing. I explained. They verified. They brought it out to us.
The food was subpar. The service was terrible. I won’t be going back!

Food was not edible. Ordered Chicago dog and cherry limeade. I love Sonic and always order the same thing. This specific location was gross. It took forever for the food to come out. The bun was stale, the hot dog was freezing cold, and to top it all off it seems like someone accidentally dumped an entire bottle of spice on it and then rubbed it off. I took one bite and spit it out. The limeade was okay, but they didn’t include the maraschino cherries, which all other locations include.

I typically like Sonic and have eaten at this location many times, but without a drastic change in store management I will not be back. I was given the worst hamburger I have ever put in my mouth (July /​2015). The hamburger was old, shriveled, overcooked, stuck to the bun, and just nasty. It is hard to have very high expectations at fast food restaurants anymore, but this would rank as one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

came here for a quick breakfast before heading back to Pennsylvania. They were out of sugar for the coffee… Then while we were waiting for our meal he came to tell us there’s no large coffee cups :(

Food was fast and even got an extra cheeseburger out of it. Samantha ran to every single car/​order. She came back to check on us and how we were doing. Gave us refills and was an absolute joy to be around.

SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW.
This has to be the SLOWEST service in Louisville. The food is alright, but the service is so ridiculously slow it’s crazy. And they have no system of telling which food order belongs to which car. They will come to your window several times, consistently, and ask if this is your order. No, it isn’t. Don’t they have a system to at least write down a detail about the car like the color or something? Jeez.
