A little hit or miss. When it is good, it’s great, but I’ve also had it be overly salty. They serve more traditional food, including my favorite, cashew chicken.

Only went here for lunch with coworkers. Spring rolls good but pad thai was just so so.

Once a big fan of Asian food, upon moving to Louisville, I discovered many substandard Asian eateries. One must wonder how these restaurants with no customers during peak hours stay in business unless they are fronts for illegal activities. Upon entering Thai Taste I was one of two tables. I figured here I go again! Tried to order a Thai beer from the menu only to discover their alcohol license had been revoked. Not a good start. Started with the crab Rangoon… tasty and fresh and I suspect real crab meat. OK things are looking up… Ordered pad tai with pork… tasty as well with subtle seasonings. Only reason place gets 3 instead of 4 stars is I was asked to seat myself, I had to pay at counter and NOALCOHOL!!!

Place was a little drab, the server was very nice… given we were one of two tables it should be good. I got the Curry Fried Rice and it was very good! My wife got the Yellow Curry and she really liked it. The food was good, but there are a couple of Thai places we would eat at before driving down there again. If you live near by, I would give it a try and judge for yourself!

Love this place. It is right down the street from us and we eat there a couple times a month usually. Frequently get carry-out, never had a problem. The food is cheap, the pad thai is amazing, and I can never finish a full portion in one sitting. We usually order dinner and the regular waitress is always lovely to us. But I have also occasionally had poor/very slow service at this place(hence the four stars). The good times far out weight the bad. But, I understand why some people have written less than stellar reviews. It is definitely worth a try(and a second try) if you live in the neighborhood. I will definitely be going back.

I wanted to like this place SOBADLY. I love Thai food and this place is in my neighborhood. But the food really wasn’t good and the portions were small. I ordered pick up, she told me 20 minutes. I went 30 minutes later and entered the restaurant. There’s a bell on the door but no one at the desk. I figure they heard me and someone will come soon. The restaurant is pretty quiet. There’s a table of 6 and a table of 1. The space is huge and empty. There’s no music. It has been 3 minutes and no one has come. No servers in the dining room and no noise but the table of 6. Me and the table of one are kind of crashing their party. I’m feeling incredibly uncomfortable. There’s movement through the doors of the kitchen, but I’m not bold enough to approach. Another 2 minutes pass before a lady comes out with my order. When I got home, I saw that some of my order had leaked into the bag because they use very cheap containers. We got the crab rangoon: tasted like only cream cheese… but it’s deep fried, so still good. Chicken Prik Khing: So watery. The taste was there, but it was water, not sauce. Chicken Penang Curry: Bad. It was very thin, and the taste was off. I’m pretty sure they didn’t use kaffir lime or basil. I was craving this dish and was totally unfulfilled. So, I grabbed a handful of Thai cashews and wallowed in my sadness. Alright, I didn’t wallow, but I was definitely sad. I’m a firm believer in second chances, but honestly, I just don’t think this place is worth it.

It’s shabby and not very clean. We were the only people in the restaurant and yet, the china was chipped and dirty, the silverware was dirty(rice stuck to it!), and the waitress was rushing us to order(it didn’t close for another four hours). Vegetarian dumplings were decidedly mediocre. Ginger chicken entrée was NOT a Thai dish. It was definitely Chinese. Passable but not great. Vegetarian coconut soup tasted weird. Definitely find a different Thai restaurant. Not worth the money.

The pad Thai here was passable there is better in Louisville. On the other hand the red curry was off the charts great. It was. A 3 or 4 in heat and lights you up! Really nice atmosphere.

They have excellent Thai food, and the waitress is friendly and provides good service. We tried the spring rolls(non-fried) and the shrimp salad for appetizers. The portions could be a bit larger for the appetizers, but the quality was excellent. It was a real taste treat! For the main dish, we had the chicken with ginger. The taste was delightful, and the portion size was ample. The price is reasonable, and parking wasn’t a problem, as they have their own parking lot. Try it! You will like it!

I’m wavering between 3 and 4 stars, but I can’t give that 4th star till I make a return visit and see that the quality is consistent. Went for the lunch buffet with a few coworkers. Loved the chance to enjoy more than one dish without having to all agree on entrees to share. Liked all the main dishes– mostly various curries — and even the tofu was spicy and flavorful. Nothing special about the«side dishes» of spring rolls, what tasted like fish sticks, crab rangoon and such. No fruit or other dessert type item to round out the meal. All and all though, a very good lunch. Just the right amount of spicy and all the meats and veggies in the curries were cooked to the proper done-ness. No real comment on service because I really don’t expect anything more for a buffet than plate clearing and water refilling, both of which were sufficient. Reasonably priced.

Cheap and so yummy! My best friend and I make regular dates to visit while at this restaurant. I am obsessed with curry coconut chicken and order it at any Thai place I visit, this place included. The only reason I don’t rate it higher is that the staff seems rather put off if you actually require attention. They are nice enough but give you the impression they would rather be doing something else.

I love this place and eat here weekly. Sometimes the medium spicey can be too hot. But on the whole it’s much better than any other thai place in louisville(IMO)

I have to give this four stars for one reason. They actually have a lunch buffet during the week! As far as I know, this is the only Thai buffet in Louisville. The food is good and the buffet is not huge, but there are always a couple of curries and some other dishes that make the buffet worth it. So if you want to get your fill of Thai or just sample a couple new dishes, this buffet is the way to go.
