Stopped in for dinner the other night, the atmosphere is great, didn’t have a very long wait. Hosts were courteous, the food was mediocre at best. Our server, Sarah, was absolutely amazing. She was very friendly and paid such good attention to our table. Never had to ask for refills, and always had a great attitude and even joked around with us! Probably the best service we’ve received here, she made our experience 110% better! We will be back for our anniversary, keep the wine chilled!!!

The crab ravioli that I got tasted very fresh and better than most seafood based dishes you get this far inland. Service from a waiter named Dylan was great, he kept good attention on us, even though there was a larger, more demanding table in our same section. His positive attitude through our dinner service was worth noting. I will be back and will be recommending to others.

I went here with a friend while I was in town. We both really liked this place. It’s charming. Food was pretty decent for the price. The only major downside was the service. INSANELY bad. After we got seated, no one came to our table for over 15 minutes… We had to get up and walk to front to tell the host, wtf? This happened multiple times throughout lunch. It just seems like they were badly understaffed. We enjoyed the place and food so much it’s why I am not giving it 3 stars. I had the lasagna, she had the spaghetti with white and red sauce mixed(manager special).

The food and service was mediocre at best, This restaurant portraits an Italian restaurant with out the flair. Food– Apps — we had the artichoke and shrimp dish along with the olive tapenade and meatballs– all three apps were very good… No wedding soup! Dinner– I had the house special majithra cheese and the brown sauce — mine was bland and dry not enough sauce — Couple others at the table had the lasagna they were happy with it. And shrimp with Alfredo sauce also happy with it. Maybe, I was hoping for Italian food from Philadelphia or New York, but that’s not what we got. What I got was a lower version of Maggiano’s

Overall. Meh. Neither great or bad. Just average. The spicy spaghetti wasn’t. The bread was great. Everyone cleaned their plates but nobody was talking about the food. The food service was fast. The waitress was slow and forgetful but pleasant and courteous. I always leave OSF feeling full but never super happy about my meal. We waited 20 min at 6:30 on a Wednesday and the place super busy. Could all be due to the amount of people being served.

For as long as I can remember, and probably even longer than that… The Old Spaghetti Factory has been downtown as a fixture on Market Street. As an adult I do not frequent this establishment much, unless someone else chooses it for their dinner destination. When the opportunity arises, I oblige and enjoy thoroughly enjoy the interior décor to the max! This place is gorgeous inside. Lots of fancy chandeliers, beautifully kept wood all around, and lots of bold colors. If you have never been… go inside just to see the charm. It is a perfect spot for children! They love the pasta and enjoy sitting in the trolley car for dinner, so make sure to grab a spot inside of it when you go! The food is another story. I would say that for basic italian it is just ok. I am not a huge fan of pasta but if I really want some, this spot will mostly do the trick. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are average. I do like how they give you a soup or salad, pasta and a small dessert as your meal. I think the tasiest thing I have had here is probably any of their items with the mizithra cheese and browned butter. Yum! Seriously. oh, and it is lovely to have a small scoop of spumoni ice cream after finishing your dinner. :)

I visited the Old Spaghetti Factory with some of my family that was in town Sunday night for the first time in quite a while. It’s always a pleasure being at the Spaghetti Factory simply because of it’s appearance. It’s such a beautiful building and everything inside accommodates it’s beauty! There was a wait of about 30 minutes which wasn’t as bad as I thought it would have been without reservations and the service is always exceptional! Our waitress took care of our large party with no hesitation or struggle. Very warm and very prompt! My caesar salad was delicious and so were the appetizers! The only bad thing I have to say about my experience, is my main course! I had the Breast of Chick Fettuccine, and everything tasted wonderfully, BUT the chicken on my plate most certainly came from a can, which disgusted me. I was under the impression that the chicken would have been baked, but never did I think that it would have been canned chicken. I know, I know… How do I know?! I have actually had my fair share of canned meats and this was definitely it! I was rather disappointed. But the Spumoni is always wonderful! This place has a wonderful appearance and wonderful service, but the food just isn’t what it should be for a place like this.

We reluctantly ate here with another couple. It was never my favorite, but acceptable if all you want is something to fill your stomach. I will not go back. The waiter was really young and you could tell he had no idea what he was doing. When I say this, I mean it literally seemed like they fetched a random kid from his parents house and stuck a uniform on him and told him to get started. The couple with us took a smoke break and saw 10 – 12 servers outside smoking around the side of the building while tables all around us weren’t getting served in anything remotely close to a timely manner. Anyway, on with the food. I decided to go with what I’ve always ordered, because I figured at least I knew what I was getting– chicken parmesan with minestrone soup. The soup came and the broth was fine, but the vegetables were all raw. Not undercooked, but raw. When the main dish came, I looked over at the couple across the table and we about burst out laughing. The portion of spaghetti looked like a side order, and the chicken was maybe a 3 ounce piece of chicken that was prepared in a way I have never seen in an order of chicken Parmesan. It looked like a third of a chicken breast, baked naked and reheated with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese under a broiler. If we hadn’t eaten appetizers elsewhere beforehand, I would have been really irritated and asked to talk to a manager and complain. The whole experience was so bad, I didn’t really even see the point, because there were obviously so many fundamental issues with the place that management was probably the problem, anyway. I get that people go here because of the ambience and it’s a tradition and yadda yadda, but please. There are so many better options near here and around town, that I can only recommend to NOT eat here. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Was hungry and it was my last day in town so I decided to try some«good olé» pasta from the Old Spaghetti Factory… unfortunately, my meal was tasteless and mostly just butter rich. Pretty disappointing especially at $ 16 for a dish of pasta and butter. Oh, they did add few shrimp. I can’t speak for any other dish, but I would give this a resounding thumbs down! I wish I had more hands.

This place is like stepping back in time. Except for when the first thing you see is tons of people waiting. There is always a long wait so make reservations. We like to head up to the second level bar to get a drink while we are waiting and sometimes we end up eating there too. The menu looks a little dated but I’m always happy with the results. I ordered the #2 which is spaghetti and cheese and spinach ravioli. I ate until I was full and had left overs. Most thins come with and salad or soup, bread, and a cup of the best ice cream ever! I leave happy always. Keep in mind that this place is always busy so this shows a little with the service. Our server was obviously busy so her hard work was really appreciated. I can’t end this review without pointing out the amazing atmosphere you’re in. Stained glass, high ceilings, and you can even eat in an old train car for an extra wait. This place is pretty cool in you’re into that sort old feel.

We ate here today after taking in a show at the Kentucky Art Center. It’s become a little tradition for us. The atmosphere is great. Nothing better than an old building with high ceilings like this. The food is was good and plentiful. I went starving and left very full. I have enough leftovers for a good lunch tomorrow. I had the traditional pasta with meat sauce. I opted for the hearty portion which I may not have needed given my leftover situation. I love pasta so nothing wrong in my book. The service was ok at best. The place was busy but the staff seemed very flustered. Our waitress was mostly on top of stuff but forgot small things like butter with the bread. When we asked for it she quickly made it right. Overall the service wasn’t bad but also wasn’t anything amazing. We probably won’t be back for a while but it was a good treat.

I thought it would be a little different if an experience. The food wasn’t as tasty as I thought it would be(it was still good). I had the spaghetti and ravioli combo and it was kind of plain. There wasn’t anything fantastic about it. Also the atmosphere was a little bit different than I thought. It was really loud inside(probably due to all of the kids). Other than those few things it was still an overall good time. My complaints were basically from having higher expectations before I walked in. We had reservations so we walked right in and set down. Our overall seat time was around 50 minutes.

Surprisingly nice inside, seems to be a restored old victorian hotel and bar, or made to look like one. Other locations from this chain have been disappointing to me. Poor service, over priced and nothing to get excited about in the décor or the food. In many ways this location surprised us. The furnishings are surprisingly well appointed in a glamourious victorian area way with rich woods, chairs, chandeliers and antique beveled mirrors. Not really Italian to me but still very nice, perfect for a prom date dinner or an upscale presentation where you can still come in for lunch in shorts and a t-shirt. The service staff was well trained and friendly, attentive without restoring and patient with our 3 year old grand daughter. The food was ok, not great, not bad either fairly priced and somewhat underwhelming but acceptable. Kind of like all the other locations in this chain across the US. Still go once for lunch to enjoy the venue. Not a place I’d pick for a higher grade romantic Italian restaurant or to take business people from out of town. But still, perfect for lunch and often not too busy.

I really like this particular OSF location. It’s historic and pretty. I enjoy looking at the stained glass windows and high tin ceilings. I’ve always had acceptable service here, ranging from«decent» to «good». My last visit fell under the latter category, with a friendly and accommodating waitress who didn’t mind that we waltzed in 20 minutes before closing. The menu consists of almost pure comfort food, and that’s what I want and expect of OSF. I find portion sizes to be quite generous. I agree with everyone else on the planet that their mizithra and browned butter sauce is to die for, as well as the creamy pesto salad dressing. I usually order a big ol’ plate of spaghetti with half meat sauce and half mizithra sauce. I find the mizithra to be a little monotonous and overpowering on it’s own; mixing the two together was a tip I got from my husband(he used to frequent the Atlanta location years ago, before it closed down for good).

I met someone for lunch here the other day and it was pretty good! I had the spinach and cheese ravioli, which came with a salad and ice(didn’t realize it was the dinner portion, whoops). It tasted good and the service was great! However, I hate to admit, I’m not a big fan of chains, and this was definitely not your cute neighborhood Italian restaurant. I don’t have anything bad to say, as I enjoyed my food but it was nothing spectacular.

A-OK is the perfect way to describe The Old Spaghetti Factory. I’ve been coming here for years as it’s a great old stand-by. The best part about the menu is that most items are all-inclusive. This means you get tea, soup or salad, bread, an entrée, and a small cup of spumanti or ice cream for dessert. Most items are around $ 10, so this is a great deal! The food is good, but not anything special. Though I know some individuals who are somewhat addicted to their brown butter and mizithra cheese noodles… I recently dined here for lunch for a networking event and setting up a reservation was simple and the staff was accommodating. Service is always pleasant. If you’re in the downtown area looking for a good deal on some decent Italian, this is worth a stop. Otherwise, not really worth a special trip.

Spaghetti Warehouse has always been just mediocre to me. Tonight we thought we’d try their gluten free pasta. The pasta itself was cooked well, not too mushy, but the sauces are not that great. My husband, who didn’t have a gluten free meal,(chicken marsala) thought his was just ok. For the price, the food should be much better.

I like the Spaghetti Factory just fine, but I do not crave it. The décor brings it up to 3.5 stars in my opinion. Besides the awesome décor and location, my favorite thing on the menu is the house creamy pesto salad dressing. Although I am not a fan of creamy dressings, I really like this one. It is thinner than your regular ranch, but coats the boring iceberg lettuce sufficiently. My entrée of Spaghetti Vesuvius was not as attractive as the menu described: chicken cubes, sausage crumbles, peppers and onions were all smothered with thick orange cream sauce… I’m not sure I found the meatballs as described on the menu. Hubby liked his Chicken Parmigiana just fine. But we can’t help but notice just how small that piece of chicken was. All in all it was a fine visit. Hubby and I agreed that this is one of those places that we will visit maybe once or twice a year.

This place made me feel like I was on the Titanic, mostly because of how beautiful it was on the inside. We were told there was a 30 minute wait, thankfully it only ended up being 10 or so. First off our server Courtney was very friendly and very helpful. I had The Half and Half. 2 generous portions of Spaghetti and Raviolis. It comes as a 3 course meal as most their entrees do, Salad or Soup, Dinner, then Dessert. Also fresh bread. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was very nice and casual. A very upscale, classy feel for not that bad if price. We even sat in the old railway car they have converted into seating. All in all, a wonderful dinner.
