I got the name of Veh-​I-​Cycle from a friend of a friend. He and his dad are pretty knowledgeable about cars themselves, but when something reaches beyond their expertise, they have trusted Veh-​I-​Cycle to do the work.
For some time my car had been making some weird noises, and just overall not running very smoothly. I’d been told what it probably was by one garage, who wanted to charge me through the nose for the repair. When I called Veh-​I-​Cycle, they quoted me much less, and were able to work me in quickly. Tammy, who I spoke to on the phone, was kind, polite, responded quickly to my calls, and very professional.
Once my car was in their hands, they did an amazing job of caring for it. They drove it on their own and inspected it, then called me back to let me know that the parts the other garage had recommended changing were actually looking good, and that the cause of the noise was likely something else. That something else was much less expensive to fix, and is apparently very common on my make and model of vehicle.
I appreciated that they listened to my concerns about my car, but also took the time and effort to investigate on their own, then call and keep me informed of any changes to the plan. I have NEVER had a garage do this for me, and really appreciated how communicative they were. It showed that they care about what they do in working on cars, and also that they care about interacting with their clients with integrity.
My car now drives like new — it is so smooth that it doesn’t even feel like the same vehicle! (And that’s a good thing). Plus, the bill was pleasantly much less than I had anticipated!
