For super quick alterations, Doan is your gal. She works out of her home in downtown Loveland right across from the fire station (she doesn’t have a prominent sign, but look for the yellow house with brightly colored plastic flowers in the yard — not kidding — and the American flag.) Last month on short notice she altered a dress, pants, and skirt for me. $ 15! The skirt is still slightly too large for me, but when I can remember I’ll drop it by again for her to take in.
She must do great business, because while I trying on my clothes she was fielding phone calls and the dressing room was full of garment bags. And she’ll call you honey and make you feel like you’re hanging out with your mom.
