We’ve been visiting Dr. Hulme for the past 17 years. We followed him through his transition into independent practice. Dr. Hulme is a calm and considerate optometrist. His staff is courteous and respectful. Exams are quick and the evaluations are thorough and spot on. I would have given his practice a 5 star but I’ve found their men’s frame section to be limited.

This eye doctor is the best in town. After evaluations by other doctors, eye and otherwise, Dr. Hulme correctly identified that my daughter had an issue with focusing and needed bifocals. She was having stomachaches and trouble in school. We are very grateful to the care we received here! They are wonderful with children and miss them as we had to move.

I had a decent experience… The first appointment I was a bit surprised when I asked him if my prescription had changed, and instead of a simple yes or no he goes «Do you even understand what any of this means?» Umm? Yea — is that a problem? My second appointment to check my contact lenses, the doctor got offended that I said I order lenses from 1800contacts. Is that really an issue? After that, he rushed me out of the room, to the front desk, didn’t tell me how much a box of contacts was, gave me an incomplete prescription without the base curve and that was that.
Good thing my prescription is good for 2 years… I’ll be going back home (California) to visit my old optometrist whom I adore.
