Enlyten Car Service

The worst! Just like everyone else, I purchased the Groupon for a brew tour. Booking was difficult and took months. Finally, on the day of the tour Enlyten didn’t call to confirm (as their contract states they will), nor did they show up. Their voicemail is full, and they don’t reply to emails.
Big scam! How has the BBB or CO PUC not shut them down?!
Did anyone else notice that all of the 5 star reviews that have been filtered/​removed due to a violation of Unilocal’s TOS are from the owner? Not cool, Gilbert Darnell Williams. What a scammer.

Here’s the deal… Darnell the driver from Enlyten kills it. He drove myself and some awesome peoples (including my LadyHawk) around for an afternoon of wine tasting. He knows his wines, he listens to good tunes (and will listen to yours as well) and he’s just a good professional driver.
We had a blast with this car service. They were prompt and kept us on a good schedule while we drank the afternoon away enjoying some amazing local wines. They let us keep a cooler of snacks (i.e. cheese and other wine-​like items) in the van and just made us feel completely at home.
From what I understand, they do brewer tours, wine tours, and trips to Red Rocks for concerts. I would and will definitely use them for all of the above.
So should you. For real. I mean it.

To know me is to know that I kiiiiiiiiiinda like to drink things of an alcoholic nature. Beer, wine, liquor. I love it all and I live in an amazing state to be able to try a bunch of places that make it right here.
The only problem with doing a tour of wineries is, well, you find of get a little buzzed in the process. So it’s, of course, completely irresponsible to drive.
That’s where Enylten came in the other week.
My friends and I took a tour of several lovely wineries (and a meadery… is that a word?) in the Boulder/​Denver area last week and we were very happy with the service we received from this car service.
We were in a van since there were 6 of us and we had a great time joking around in between stops while we were in our booze ride.
Darnell was awesome, telling us why he chose the wineries that he did and why he liked each place, along with a little history of each place.
Not that I remember the histories. I was drinking wine all day. It’s a bit of a boozey blur.
Which is why I had a nice car service taking me on the tour.

Can not believe this rip off!!! I bought two groupons for round trip limo service to red rocks. Used the first one at the beginning of August. The limo was a plain jane VAN. But I had the groupons and they were expensive. In August I booked for my 2^nd night to go to a show on Sept 22^nd. My daughter was celebrating her 30^th and my sister coming out from NY to go to a show. Confirmed TWICE. That morning I started getting anxious. I repeatedly emailed and called. NO CALL BACK AND NO ONE EVER SHOWED. Had to take a cab to the show and found another car service to pick us up. So I was out $ 200 for the Groupon for car service AND then had to pay a cab and another car service. I found a great company that only charges $ 75 a red rocks. WHAT A SCAM, RIP OFF AND TOTALLY AWFUL COMPANY!!! DO NOT EVER USE THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE A SPECIAL EVENT RUINED!!!

The worst company and customer service I’ve ever experienced! I had «supposedly» had a reservation for a party bus limo with Enlyten & regardless of the poor reviews, I had trusted my birthday to this company for a great experience. I was in the wrong. I had been notified by telephone that my reservation was confirmed and my night would be all that I had expected. This was after numerous phone call and emails that were not responded to, but I had confidence in the company and went with it. I had a party bus «reserved» for Friday ⁸⁄₁₇ @ 6:30pm and at 12pm, someone finally answered my call and told me someone cancelled my reservation. Being my party and my reservation, this had obviously not happened. Instead of trying to apologize or fix the situation, I was told «Too bad and we can’t help» and then hung up on. I have no idea how this company still exists. The only good thing tht came from the situation was finding a wonderful company who cared about their name and their reputation. Last minute I was able to enjoy my birthday and be treated exceptionally by pimped out bus of Denver. Thank you to Griggs Limo Service for taking such good care of me and I will continue to put my effort to treating Enlyten as poorly as they have treated me.

While I’ve not yet used their services, I can speak to my experience with customer service. I had purchased a Front Range Wine tour package through Living Social that was a great deal. Unfortunately, I became pregnant before I could use it, and was looking at the offer’s expiration occurring before my due date. I contacted the company about my issue, and they were generous enough to extend the offer until I would be in a position to actually enjoy it, which I really appreciated and thought was very courteous. This was rather refreshing, since I’ve had other companies not be so professional and accommodating.
I will be updating my review and rating as soon as I have the chance to use their service!

I bought a groupon for this tour, and although I had to book the tour 3 months out, I had no problems getting it scheduled.
We had no idea what to expect, so we were pleasantly surprised to see a limo (granted it was a flash back from the 90’s) roll up.
Our driver Ron was a great guy, but it was his first day on the job… So he wasn’t very knowledgeable on what the game plan was… We had a hiccup on the first drop off when we were dropped off at a brewery that was closed… But right after that we met up with another group and Ron got the low down on how he should be handling our tour.
Once that was all straightened out we had a fantastic time! We were driven around to a bunch of local breweries, met some great people, and learned about the beer brewing business.
This tour allows you to visit and support local breweries without worrying about not being able to enjoy the wares because you have to drive. I definitely would do this again!

You’ve got to be kidding me. Is this company really still in business? We’re still trying to schedule a tour… no one ever calls back. The only number that a live person answers isn’t really the tour company and all they say is «Be patient, someone will get back to you.» If this tour ever really happens, I’ll be very surprised! And even if it does happen and I have a great time, I don’t think I’ll change my rating because this is no way to run a business. No matter how busy you are, you respond to your customers in a timely fashion!

BELIEVE everything that everyone said about this company.
I was foolish enough to purchase a Groupon for this «service». Here were the issues:
— The company did not get back to us after several weeks of emailing them to set up a tour.
— When Gil finally called to schedule a tour, he said he would send a confirmation email. I never received one, and when I followed up to see if he would send me that email, he said the date he promised me was no longer available. (I had to coordinate 12 people’s schedules – we were NOT rescheduling.)
— I left him messages and an email to make the original date he gave us work. I had to call multiple times to get him to pick up.
— Gil never gave details about what to expect for this tour, leaving me and my group wondering what we needed to do. POOR COMMUNICATION.
— When my friends and I finally went to the first brewery on a Super Saturday Tour (because that was the only one we could do), NO VAN EVER CAME TO DRIVE US ANYWHERE. While there was a driver there, he never came to my group to tell us what was happening. Evidently the van that was suppose to take us was having «technical difficulties» (uh, you mean, mechanical difficulties??)
— We DEMANDED our money back and said that we were not going to wait any longer for a bus/​van/​sketchmobile that wasn’t coming. We ended up waiting an hour and a half at the first brewery before we decided it was no longer worth our time.
— I called Gil multiple times and sent him a strongly worded email telling him that we expected our money back. He has yet to respond to any form of communication.
Even writing all of the up has my heart palpitating – it was THAT awful of an experience. Luckily, Groupon is great and they were happy to refund my money. I just hope in the future that they no longer sell Colorado Brewery Tour groupons because it’s nowhere near worth the headache.
DO NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY. If I could give this no stars or negative stars, I would do that because it doesn’t even warrant one star.

Gil,
I left you a message this morning regarding the expected refund from our lack of a Super Saturday Tour on April 14^th. In my communication with Britain, he said that you would call on Saturday to follow up; I waited until Sunday, but once again did not hear from you.
My friends and I were looking forward to a Saturday where we could relax and have fun. I brought you business by encouraging 11 other eager and willing individuals to purchase the Groupon with me so that we could support local breweries. I was consistently frustrated by the lack of communication during the planning process, where I had to follow up with you many times because you were not returning my calls or replying to my emails. I gave you and your company the benefit of the doubt, understanding that it is a busy time for you, hoping that the planning process was a minor glitch in setting up a tour.
When Saturday came, my group and I were confused about what to expect. Because I did not receive a confirmation email from you detailing what would happen during the day, I had to be on the lookout for who would be our drivers, when I believe it should be the other way around. As a customer, I expected that my friends and I were to be taken care of during this trip.
An hour passed, and we realized that one group of brewery tourists were gone. There was no communication from Britain or you that there were «technical difficulties»; I had to be the one to seek out Britain to see what was going on. The lack of communication contributed to more frustrations during the day. I had to be the one looking for Britain, as we were never told that one group was even going. When I would check in with Britain – once again, I believe that he should have been the one updating us instead of the other way around – he would give us vague information regarding the situation. An estimated time of arrival, more information surrounding the situation, or a better explanation as to what was happening would have been appreciated. Britain would give us a time that you had given him, tell us that was when we were expecting to leave, only for that time to pass by and there would still be no car.
Upon speaking to other individuals at Strange Brewery, we found out that this was a common practice among your business. As I mentioned before, I was giving you all the benefit of the doubt, trying my best to be patient and understanding. However, the lack of communication and ineffectiveness of a «Plan B» for the «technical difficulties» led my group and me to decide that it was no longer worth our time to wait for a bus that would or wouldn’t come.
My friends and I work hard during the week at our jobs so that we can enjoy our weekends. We dedicated a Saturday to spend with your business as it seemed promising. As we work hard at our jobs to be as efficient, communicative, and effective as possible, we expected the same thing from Colorado Brew Tours.

AWFUL COMPANY.
We bought a Groupon for this service and have been trying to schedule a tour for 7 months, with no luck. They don’t answer their phone, they take 3 – 5 WEEKS to return an email, and when you finally do get in contact, they can’t schedule you for the requested weekend because surprise! It has been a month since you requested it and they filled it!
We thought we had found a compromise when they allowed us to use our Groupon on their Saturday bus tour. Nope! After getting a response back three weeks later to our request for confirmation, they said they had no record of us being on the bus tour. With three days before this is supposed to happen, of course. So, we will be getting our money back from Groupon.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. This place should be ashamed of themselves for their complete incompetence.

Great experience, highly recommended! Gil was very professional and very accommodating. He even went out of his way to drive us to Evergreen, CO to the Creekside Cellars. He also let us bring our little service dog! Will use again.

I see that the company is trying the Groupon marketing tactic again.

Thankfully, Groupon is actually a reputable service and they gave me a full refund on my purchase. However, Gil, the owner of the company never responded to me until this week — over 5 months after he stood me up and NEVER called me back. He knew that Groupon would refund my money and he wouldn’t have to deal with unhappy pre-​paying customers. He admitted he «dropped the ball» (5 months later) and wanted to make amends by offering a free ride to the airport. Seriously? If he can’t show up for a fun brew tour… why should I trust him with getting me to a flight on time?
DO NOT BUY ANY GROUPONS FOR THIS SERVICE — he will just stand you up!

I tried to book the groupon tour 4 times over a 6 month span and I was only responded to once, just for the owner to tell me there wasn’t availability on any of the 6 days I had offered as potentials. Someone please shut this guy down before he robs anyone else!

This place is a total scam, we shoudl have known by how difficult it was to schedule the tour. We waited a half hour after our pick up time and no one ever showed. No one answered the phone when we tried to determine what was going on.
Do not book — shut this business down! Hopefully Groupon will give us our money back!

This business is a glorified car service. And being driven around in a retiree’s personal cadillac, isn’t want I would call comfortable. I am kind of confused on what my $ 89 pays for, because they don’t book any tours at the breweries that is all up to us. When my friend and I stopped into Left Hand Brewery in Longmont, the minute they saw who we were with, they apologized! That’s how bad a rep this business has! If you really need a driver, I can be your DD for half price! ;)
