Yum! The frozen custard was great. I highly recommend the turtle sunday. The burgers were decent and I loved the fries! Great place to go for Frozen Custard!

I have to say this was one of THE best burgers I’ve ever had. When I opened it up and the meat was paper thin I was shocked but the way they cook it and layer it with cheese and make it crunchy was so original and amazing! I would suggested always going with a double though.

First time I came at freddys the made the wrong custard for someone and give it to us for free. It was really good! Their entire menu is delicious. Best burgers I’ve ever had. Best fries too! Just wish they stayed hot longer… bunt cakes are so good! I need to try their dogs

Lowest quality of any burger joint I. Have ever been to could use a spoon to dip the Greece from the burger. Someone dropped the salt shaker on the fries. Thought they were having an orgy in the kitchen! Where is management. Counted 17 people only 7 tables then had to stand in line to get order taken. Music so loud you can not hear speaker even with that many people couple setting next to us did not hear their # and not 1 of the 17 could bring it to them. Observed cashier sweeping floor & clearing tables, not washing hands & waiting on people.

First time at Freddy’s and it won’t be our last! The food was fresh and made to order. The service exceeded my expectations for a «fast food» restaurant. We arrived at lunch time and there was a high school crowd that just arrived! The kids were polite, not overly noisy and basically just ate and left. We totally enjoyed our lunch. The general manager, Brodie, came to our table to make sure we were satisfied with our experience, which we were and although we were too full for dessert, he gave my grandson a small custard milkshake to try. The custard was amazing and next time we will save room for dessert!

The burger was dripping with grease and the fries looked wet from the oil. The young lady working the register kept taking receipts and various other prices of paper, wadding them up, and throwing them out into the dining area at one of her friends, and not even bothering to pick any of it up. Pretty annoying, probably going to be a while before I go back. It may have also been a bad choice to go there around lunch time with a high school so close by.

It’s just alright. Nothing I’ve had there tasted bad but it always seemed more expensive than it should be and there’s nothing there that makes me think about coming back. We usually just go because it’s open late or it’s convenient. I see they are opening two more locations so business must be good. I just don’t see the draw.

Disclaimer: This isn’t my kind of fast food, so I only sampled the food off my kids’(12&14) orders. This review is primarily based on their experiences with Freddy’s and they would give it a 4-star because they like eating this kind of food. McDonald’s would be a 1 ½ star for our family. I lowered Freddy’s to 3-star because of cost and I can’t give it the same 4 or 5 star rating as fast casual places that I think are awesome. First, my kids love the frozen«concretes». The bites I’ve had are good… It’s ice cream, I expected that. Hard to stop at a couple of bites, but I try really hard to make myself(and my kids get annoyed if I steal too much of heir food). Freddy’s prints the nutritional info and these things can be a whole days’ calories depending on flavor & size you get. The large brownie delight clocks in at 1932 calories and the mini is just over 1000. But I digress… So the concretes are thick and creamy and the brownie delight is full of delicious brownie chunks. «Yum», say the kids! On our most recent visit tonight, my daughter also ordered the regular chicken tender combo. It came with three medium sized chicken tenders and fries. My daughter commented that she loves the skinny style fries — the skinnier, the better for her! She also enjoyed her chicken tenders. The fries for me were fine, but nothing to write home about. I think I prefer mine thicker. Visually, I wasn’t impressed with the chicken tenders, but I didn’t taste them and my kiddo liked them. I do feel this place is pricy: my bill for the combo meal & regular sized concrete was just under $ 12. For a meal for my 12 year old. But, the establishment has a nice feel to it. It was clean — a step up from a Mc D’s type of meal, so I guess that’s the cost of a nicer fast-food joint. Staff was friendly.

Awesome place to get a unique and delicious burger and fries. I have been here a few times with family and friends and always leave happy and full. The turtle custard is awesome!

The burgers were horrible. Each one was about 1⁄16th of an inch thick — like they either took off the top or bottom of the burger but not the whole thing and they were burned crisp. Would never go back — yuck

Meh. 2.5 stars… I went here the other day and got a bacon double burger… It was a fastfood burger. Nothing amazing like everyone is talking about. Their sweet treats are good but not any better than Dairy Queen or Dairy Delite. Really nothing special about this place and the food is really really greasy. I guess it was just over hyped for me. It definitely does not live up to it.

Beef IS beef. Burgers ARE burgers. Freddie’s does serve a fine burger, fries, & shakes, but their overhead must be high. Over-priced by appr. $ 2.00 per burger; red & white plastic is their idea of class; and it is noisy, very noisy. The food is good, if you can deal with the rest.

Ok, so I love this place. Great steak burgers made to order, awesome skinny fries with fry sauce and seasoned salt, and delicious frozen custard to eat on the way home… Can I get a Hell Yeah? Place is always clean and the staff is always friendly and fast. Do it

Seriously, i flippn’ love Freddys. Good price for a decent burger. And i LOVE their fries. They’re so skinny mini and delishhhh. Every Freddy’s I’ve been to have been up to par. Kansas, VA, and Colorado have all been good. It’s like our very own in-n-out. I always crave Freddy’s.Seriously. Like no joke, i crave this shit a lotttttttt. A WHOLEEELOT. I LAVAIT A LOT. Burgers have a thin pattie which i prefer over a thick slab of meat. They have a sauce like the animal style from in-n-out minus the onions. It’s like a thousand island based sauce? Or something idk but it’s bomb.

All I can say is YUMMY! My favorite is the Patty Melt with all those YUMMY onions it is to die for. I also LOVE the skinny fries and so do my kids. I think for the reviewers that say there is not enough seasoning; you probably eat fast food too often and your taste buds expect too much salt. I personally can’t believe the lack of salt story and don’t get me wrong I love me some salt but I also eat ALOT of fresh food and not a lot of fast food. Service is always friendly and the place is very clean.

This fast food chain can easily be misinterpreted. Don’t drive here expecting a STEAKBURGER. A steak burger should be thick and meaty. Google it. These patties are extremely thin. I dissected a burger I ordered and held up the patty to show my friend. We were able to see through it! There were literally holes in it like a decorative parmesan cheese crust you get wedged on top of fancy mashed potatoes. I understand the need of a thinner patty. It cooks quicker and goes out to the guests faster. I get it. It’s just not for me. The fries are the thinnest in the business. They remind me of chipsticks. Remember those? Also, don’t think you arrived in flavor town. Flavor does not live here. **UPDATE** 04÷14÷4014 Elizabeth, thanks for making your customer feel like an idiot! I DID order the Original Double and the meat still didn’t compare to a regular burger. The«thin lace» was throughout the burger, not just daintily present on the outer edge as you suggested. The center of the burger was not thicker. Why would I pay extra money for an additional patty when I can go elsewhere and not be charged? I would suggest that you retrain/reconfigure your thinking but why bother? I’m never visiting your establishment again. There are better burgers and service elsewhere. Thanks for trying.

5 stars for a fast food place. This Freddy’s is like all the others, 5 stars for the staff who were quick and helpful. They kept the place clean during lunch rush and wiped tables between folks. Spot on today for us. Had the Patty Melt combo, wife had Freddy combo, and kids had burger and hot dogs. Good food and love the Freddy’s fry sauce. If 5 guys is 5 star on a good day this would be 4.5, but I don’t consider them in the same category. Update: liked lunch well enough came back for sundaes.

Very plain. The business card I have reads«Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers.» The building was attractive. I looked forward to what lay inside for us. The parking lot was good-sized, and well laid out. That’s a pleasure after parking in some lots that look like they had been designed by Dr. Seuss. The inside had a high ceiling which was probably not a good choice acoustics-wise. The menu is easy to read, easy to understand, and not too long. The over-loud music seemed to be of a genre suitable for Freddy’s theme. I did not like seeing all those brown boxes in the kitchen. I know it’s normal. But it’s unattractive in our era when such things are usually out of customers’ line of sight by putting them in cabinets or behind vision-shields. The order taker was cheerful, bright, and knowledgeable, and looked us straight in the eye. One of us at a time, not all of us at once; even a spider couldn’t do that, look into all our eyes at once. A good employee who will be successful wherever she works. I hope she’s working towards a professional degree. I asked what their spiciest sandwich was, and was told there was none at all, but they could add jalapenos if I wanted. No «hatch green chile burger» for me. No «green chili burger.» Maybe those are seasonal. The meat loaf sandwich was plain as water. I think they might add a little seasoning to make it a little tastier. The California steak-burger was not as exciting as I had hoped. And there was a problem, a horrible problem. Let me explain. The California steak-burger tasted alright, and the sauce was alright, and the jalapenos I had them add to it were ‘mehn’. But you know what was done that made it difficult to enjoy? Sauce was put on the lower bun. The LOWER bun! Not like another restaurant I frequent who puts its sauce on the top of the burger itself before putting the top on. So what happens then? Well, first of all the entire weight of the hamburger(minus the bottom bun) presses down on the sauce(and the bottom bun). Second, when I picked up the hamburger, my thumb provided an even smaller area of support than the serving basket, so that the pressure on the part of the bun increased exponentially, and thus the sauce was forced even more. .. forcefully. .. into the lower bun. The result was a very soggy lower bun which lost cohesion and did so in a gooily manner. So my experience was a bit of a messy one. The French fries were thinner than most places serve, which is actually a double plus for some customers. However, some customers also say the fries are too salty. I did not find mine too salty, but the seasoning available to put on them was very salty. The first ingredient in the special seasoning they sell is salt. So when I added a little of that seasoning to my French fries, I got an extra wallop of salt. The soda, on the day we went, was too diluted. The«custard» — I thought that was as good as the vanilla ice cream I like, with the added bonus that it didn’t have that same tendency to give me a headache. A fine, clean place if you need to avoid spicy foods and heavy seasoning(except salt), and if ice cream sometimes gives you headaches and you’re looking for an ice-cream-like substitute.

We got a green chili burger and fries, we skipped the concrete(more on that later). The burger was thin and delicious, the way that I prefer them. The bun was good and the green chilis even had a tiny bit of spice to them, which is unusual at a restaurant, they normally offer mild only. The fries were delicious! They were like shoes string fries with their special seasoning on top. They were perfectly crispy. The service here wasn’t great, I asked what the best concrete that they offer is and the lady told me that they are all listed on the menu and that I could either create my own or get something they had already created. Not the answer I was looking for. I’d say go for it!

Leaving Loveland I was starving, it’s a long drive from Denver to Loveland I found. I knew I passed a Freddy’s on the way to my destination and thought a steak burger was just what I needed. Drive thru service was overly friendly, quick, and accurate. I received my burger and fries and drove happily back to Denver with a full and happy tummy. Certainly not a destination location but a good quick stop for some grub on the way somewhere.
