The broth was pretty decent, not too fatty, not too salty. But just your average phở. It helped w my altitude sickness for sure though.

Best Phở in Northern Colorado! And I’m a Phở snob!!! The broth is very delicious. I always get the rare beef. Yum

I’ve gone a few times and each time hoping the food will be better, but sorely disappointed– it’s not! The food is very mediocre.

Amazing noodle bowls and spring rolls. Will be back for sure. Can’t wait to eat here again.

I’ve taken my family to Phở Lan several times since they relocated and each time the food quality has gone down. Tonight the sauce on my daughter’s Pad Thai was very thick and pasty. The chicken on my noodle bowl was dry, not fresh at all, and the egg roll was burnt on the ends. I enjoy Thai food because of the fresh, bright flavors but tonight was dull and tasteless. Running a restaurant is difficult but it’s important that every night, every dish is made to the highest of standards. I will return one more time because small restaurants deserve a chance to be successful.

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, food and service. The egg drop soup, chicken pad thai, honey dew boba tea, and crab and cheese won tons were all excellent will definitely be coming back again!

Was delicious! Had Vietnamese spring rolls, a bowl of phở, and kung pao combo. Food came out fast and hot! I typically judge a place on their phở, and this place is pretty good! Phở is different everywhere you go because each person cooking it has their own traditional recipe. Some are good and some I don’t prefer. I’d definitely eat here again! Glad there’s a place like this in Loveland. And for those people who come here for«Chinese», go somewhere else. They are NOT the same, nor should you expect it to be!

I’ve been a fan of this stuff for about 5 years now, and have been to maybe 7 or 8 restaurants in Colorado and other places. Staff was friendly, place seemed clean, but the Phở broth(which I consider one of the most important elements of this dish) was no good, mainly just salty. Couldn’t even finish my bowl. When I’m traveling you get only one shot. This was possibly just a bad day for them, but only drive through Loveland occasionally and won’t risk another bad meal at this restaurant.

Clean, comfortable, good music, great service, awesome food. We enjoyed the tea, spring rolls, shrimp phở and a vermicelli bowl. All 3 dishes were excellent and came out quickly. I’d consider driving from fort collins just to eat here because it beats every phở restaurant in the area. A+++

I used to live 15 minutes away from Little Saigon in southern California. I would often go there for Phở Thai. Not only did Phở Lan have excellent service this restaurant had fresh ingredients and was just as good if not better than the places I have eaten on the west coast. We drove 25 minutes from Fort Collins to get here and it was well worth the drive. Thank you for being in business!

I haven’t really dined in much here but I do take out pretty regularly. I always do a phở with beef and brisket and it’s just what I want. I believe the place is family owned and operated and everything is as nice as can be.

this place was awesome, really clean and super fast. I started with summer rolls and they came right out. the waitress was always paying attention to my water and I never had to ask for anything. I ordered Phở with brisket and rare steak. I asked her for the steak on the side which she said absolutely a lot of people do it so they can heat a little themselves and not overcook. I was in and out of this place in 15 minutes lol. which is awesome, I wanted to eat and leave since I was by myself. found a new place in Loveland that will soon to be on my regular list. I love frequenting certain places as well as discovering new so Im stoked!

I’ve been coming to Phở Lan for a few years especially when they were next to Sam’s Club. Their Phở is good and I’ve never been disappointed. My favorite food here is the spring rolls. They marinate the pork and shrimp so it’s not bland like normal spring rolls. I’ve been to around 20 vietnamese restaurants around Colorado and these are the tastiest by far. Try the spring rolls.

Best phở in the front range. Family run. They cook the broth every morning for hours.

We love Phở Lan! Their food seems to get better with each visit — specifically their broth :) I do however wish delivery was available via Order Up or Grub Hub.

Excellent flavor keeps us coming back here. Full of flavor menu from noodle to phở. Family operation provides excellent hospitality and a wonderful atmosphere. Whether dining in or grabbing a quick takeout food quality is very consistent.

Best asian food in Loveland, hands down. I’m from SoCal and grew up eating good phở. This place is on the same level as my favorite phở places in SoCal. They also have pretty good non-Vietnamese dishes. Their boba drinks are legit too.

Vegetarian phở is made with beef broth. Ugh. Was really looking forward to making this a weekly stop. Veg broth is easy to make! Come on Phở Lan. Give some love to your veggie friends!

First off, I have to say that I’ve come here for a long, long time and know the owners. Before you take that to mean I’m biased – don’t – because it just means that I understand the menu well and this review is on what’s worth ordering here at Phở Lan. Is it true that this Phở is one dimensional? For the most part, yeah.(This is coming from a Saigon-born, Asiatown-raised, Vietnamese-American.) The broth is really what makes ot break a bowl of Phở, and the broth here doesn’t have much nuance or complexity. It is passable Phở. Worth it if you’re really craving it. If you do end up ordering it and you’re like me, you’ll probably find the ratio of meat to noodles unsatisfying, so I suggest to always order extra meat. It’s a dollar more, but at least the amount of meat that comes with it is justifiable. I don’t think they really skimp because they’re cheap, I just think that it’s because meat is expensive. Even Chipotle is cutting back on meat portions on all of their locations. Now, other things worth your money: the crispy noodles come in generous portions, the grilled lamb/beef is another good contender for your stomach’s real estate, my relatives would definitely vouch for the shrimp spring rolls and pad thai, and I personally think that this place has the best gyoza(aka pot stickers) in town. Basically, anything on the«specials» department of the menu. There’s a reason it’s there. If you want faux-Asian food, like sesame chicken or general tso’s, I’d say you’re better off at Canton Palace or Asian Café and Grill. The service is nothing to write home about, it’s not bad but not memorable. All I can say is that the wait staff tries, but unfortunately, there is a language barrier between them and the mostly Vietnamese-speaking owners. The owners themselves are amicable enough, however. I don’t think this place is all that special, but for what you get, and if you’re smart about it you’ll order from the specials, the prices are certainly attractive. Other recommendations: Café de Bangkok(both the Fort Collins and Loveland locations), Young’s Café(Fort Collins), and New Saigon(Denver). 3.70÷5 stars

Well its the only VN place in town(or was.) Its okay, not great. Haven’t been to their new location. Old location was a bit dirty. Service was okay, but not gracious.

A new locale brings a new look and with it the same darn good food. The relocation certainly upped the feel of the décor from tolerable dive to pleasant restaurant. It’s larger, roomier, cleaner, brighter and Vietnameseier. Ok, that last one isn’t a word but I had a pattern to maintain. Phở Lan consistently produces the best Phở north of Brighton, CO(that I have discovered thus far) and I am pleased to report the flavors weren’t left behind in the prior location. The iced coffee is a bit larger than is typical, no complaint here, and though it’s not the finest around it is certainly worth the price. Their spring rolls, however, are great. Give them a shot. In the past, the single most significant and consistent complaint about this establishment was the service. The best one could reasonably hope for was ambivalence and hey, if staff surprised you with better consider it a bonus and go play the lottery because things are going your way. That said, during two visits since the relocation, I have found the wait staff to be amiable and attentive. Congrats to Phở Lan on the successful move! And thanks for the good eats.

By far the best phở in Colorado… Although I have only eaten it in Fort Collins Loveland in Denver. As a Denver resident now I thoroughly miss phở lan. It’s new location on 29th is very nice and more spacious than before, but the food has not changed at all. The rare beef phở is the best!!! Also the crab cheese wontons are the best I have eaten in Colorado and on the east coast as well! Please go here and eat! They will not disappoint.

I rescind every good thing I ever had to say about this place. It’s one thing to treat your customers with indifference — I am used to it when I come here, feeling like the food made up for the cold attitude. But today, you went too far. Open hostility and what I can only describe as a look of disgust as a man from the back looked me up, then down, then up again… Plus, a total lack anything resembling gratitude that I dropped $ 50 on take out. I’m a professional, well-dressed, good tipping customer who appreciates great food, but I doubt I’ll be back — ever. And I’ll take back every good thing I ever told my friends and family about you, too.

Great food and very reasonable pricing. The new location is bigger and nicer than the last location. The Phở with rare steak is great. I highly recommend Phở Lan.

Great phở. Good location. Poor service. There were 3 booths ready to be bussed and I said I’d wait a few minutes, but they forced me to a table. Those booths were never bussed while I was there. Only saw my waitress twice: to tell me they’re out of clean water cups, at which point I put in my order, and then again to bring food and the check. A cup of water never made it to my table. Probably would be a great take out experience. Update 4 months later: The waitress personally reached out via Unilocal to sincerely apologize for the poor service, due to being new on the job and understaffed for an unexpected busy night. I will definitely give the dine in experience here another try.

After travelling for a month in Vietnam and falling in with Phở and many other plates I am so happy to have a restaurant like Phở Lan close to home. I love their No 5 Phở with rare meat and brisket it is consistently delicious, very lean and with plenty veggies on the side. Their combination noodle bowl is also excellent!
