Last night at 8:15pm we stopped here for ice cream. Turned out to be a huge mistake as it took almost 30 minutes to get two waffle cones. Only one carhop working the entire outside and she could not keep up with several angry people. It was so bad I actually had to go inside and get my order. Then when I got to my car we found the ice cream was so melted from sitting out it was a huge drippy mess. Called the manager and complained, he did offer to give us replacements which was the only bright spot. Very disappointed in our experience here and will think twice about ever coming back beyond our free credit cones.

Can’t beat happy hour for drinks. Things are a changing though. Used to be any drink even with a couple add ins half price, Now ½ price drink full charge for all add ins. and 30 cents for a squirt of cherry is RIDICULOUS. The burgers are really good too. Old fashioned greasy burger. But c’mon man $ 4.59 for a single patty hamburger. That’s flirtin’ with sit down and be served prices. Service lol Just do the drive thru then you don’t have to deal with the butt hurt entitled to generation car hop that thinks a $ 5 tip is necessary to walk 15 feet with a $ 4 order.

Try the Polynesian punch or Miami Sunrise slushy. Great employees and wonderful service. Lines can get long at happy hour but worth the wait. Best Chicago dogs I’ve ever had. Great family environment.

The service here is terrible. Other cars that arrived after we did, ordered their food and had already eaten before we had even gotten our food. The food is good, but by the time we get it, it’s already cold.

This is a good Sonic, but it is a Sonic so don’t expect too much. They get four stars because my cherry limeade had both cherry and lime flavor, when often it seems like red Sprite.

I admit a weakness – Sonic onion rings. Sweet, crunchy, and always perfectly cooked. They win the battle with my will almost every time. Cranberry Limeade, tangy and tasty on its own – but terrible with the blueberry vodka I added at home. It seemed like a good idea at the time.
