Starbucks

Stay far away from this place while they are remodeling! It’s an absolute disaster! Longest wait ever for a cup of coffee!

Hit the drive thru because I was craving a nice hot green tea on this chilly day, ordered a Medium hot green tea. Pull up to the cashier window, the good looking (and clearly knows it) gentleman hands me the tea, I notice that it’s not Green Tea, it’s Jade Citrus Mint Green Tea. I tell the gentleman that this isn’t plain green tea, he states that it is. I say, no, it’s not. He argues with me some more. I state that at the Starbucks inside the King Soopers has a plain green tea, which I get all the time. Gentleman says, well we don’t have it.
*eyeroll*
I say, ok I am not drinking this and hand it back to him, he asks if I would like a refund, I state that it would be nice. He moves to the register, punches some buttons, turns back to me and says ‘I can only give you store credit.’ Doesn’t apologize.
I tell the gentleman never mind and drive away.
I’ve worked as a barista on and off for 20 years. I would NEVER talk to a customer like that. The gentleman and his giant ego need to settle down and get some retraining on how to behave and interact with customers.

Great coffee, came for the half off frappichino for members and left with a delicious java chip frappé. It was late at night and there weren’t many people there. The staff was friendly and had my coffee out quickly. The guy that served me was dancing to the music while he cleaned up, glad to see he was enjoying himself! Great environment overall and no trouble with the half off deal. Clean on the inside, bathrooms were clean. Music perfect and relaxing. Overall great experience, would highly recommend this to anyone in the area and will be coming back soon!

Kyle is amazing! He deserves a raise! Excellent customer service! Made me the most amazing hot tea for my sore throat!

This is by far one of the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. As a gold card member I have been to many. I went there three times this week. The first time my service was alright and my iced coffee was terrible. It tasted dirty and they put excessive amounts of sweetener in, despite my asking specifically for none.
The second time I went my service was awful. The cashiers left me standing at the register for 5 minutes without acknowledging me. My misto was mostly steamed soy milk and also disgusting. The third time there were three baristas out front and no customers yet they still had to call someone from the back (?). The girl who helped me was friendly enough but the dirty chai was mostly sugar.
Three drinks: all awful. Bad service. The only thing this place has going for it is incredibly fast internet. That’s the only reason I would ever go back.

Worst Starbucks experience. Puddle on the floor — not raining or snowing. Asked for 1 cube of ice in my Americano got a scoopfull and cold coffee. Forgot to do our heated pastries. Grilled cheese uncut and 50% of cheese in the packet not on the bread — in store so why In packet?

They make good coffee. Sometime the parking lot is full, but the drive through is fast! I mean you place an order and then by the time you get to the window. Here it is. Staffs are very friendly and they know that I am Deaf. I would recommend this place to anyone. I’ll tell them go to the drive through.

While Starbucks has mastered the ability to create consistent coffee, this Starbucks has not mastered the ability to manage a staffing schedule. They are consistently understaffed for weekend mornings. Especially since they have the drive-​thru business, they could use an extra person.
With that said, I do have to say that this Starbucks has one of the best outdoor patios and they are good about getting my order correct… You’ll just have to wait a little longer than usual.

At 2:30 on a weekday afternoon, the wait for my Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate was excruciatingly l-​o-​n-​g.
Maybe 5 minutes? unacceptable. –2 stars
Especially when I counted at least 4 caffeinated girls behind the counter. Make a special note of the girl whose stand-​up hair must’ve had at least 5 shots of espresso this morning to be able to do what it was doing… 8-​O
The Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate was especially good,(+1 star) but it didn’t pair well with the maple scone. Too much of a good thing.
I’m especially attracted to the shape and proportions of the mugs they have on sale. They are wide-​mouthed, sturdy looking and just darn good looking. I might have to stock my cupboard…

Who really needs a review of a Starbucks, right? But this one has two things I love: 1: a drive-​through and 2: tarragon chicken sandwiches. Stop by on your way to work and get your coffee fix and also pick up a great little lunch for later. And the baristas have gobs of the requisite Starbucks perkiness.
