Gosh is this a nice place! Grandma is happy and after staying with her over spring break, so am I. She has her own apartment, but a cleaning lady comes once a week. Helping hand comes in to distribute her meds and check her blood sugar level, etc… It’s a nice balance between independent living with some assistance. She goes down to the cafeteria for lunch and dinner and I must say, I was impressed with the dinner. As were my six-year-old and two-year-old and that’s saying a lot! Lots of optional organized activities. Grandma goes to bingo regularly. Choir, poker… Just checked the calendar there’s something for everyone. And they keep a couple rooms open for visiting out of town family. That’s what my girls and I did. Very convenient.
