Just had lunch here! It was awesome! I loved the environment and it’s really neat to look around. I ordered GLUTEN FREE PIZZA! That’s right ladies and gentlemen of Unilocal!They have GLUTEN FREE PIZZA CRUST! Run — don’t walk — and check it out! :) I also had a side salad that comes with huge chunks of Parmesan and that was unexpected. It doesn’t say anywhere that they have GLUTEN FREE PIZZA CRUST but I wanted to get that out there on Unilocal!It comes in Personal size only. Everyone else loved their food too — including pizza and a steak hoagie, so those of you that are fortunate enough to eat gluten, you can check that out too! I can’t wait to go back. maybe for dinner. maybe right now…

If you’re in downtown Loveland and looking for a great eating experience be sure to stop into The Works! The wood fired pizzas are great. Be sure to ask to dine in the pulman dining car. Great staff here too!

If I could not be even more a fan of Downtown Loveland, I FINALLY experienced The Works for the first time and I am already dreaming of sinking my taste buds back into a Cincinnati style Chili Pizza.
My boyfriend and I recently made this our pre-​planned cheat meal a week in advance and let me tell you, when you have cheat meals only once a week you tend to plan them far ahead so we had very high expectations. After spending the day in the Loveland area and walking the bike trail we decided to put our name in for dinner and with people standing outside we already knew there was going to be a wait and there was, a 45 minute one at that. We tend to never freak out over wait time because we know it is generally less than time than that and it was a gorgeous day outside so we were willing to hang around waiting. Only problem was there wasn’t really any outside seating for waiting, there was a lot of people just hovering around outside with buzzers in there hands because there was any indoor space to stand either.
Once the buzzer went off, we went inside and were taken to an outside table like we had asked for and was instantly greeted by our server. (Who had a really great man bun I might add) I am a person who tends to ask for suggestions at a new restaurant I have never been to and I could tell that this server was newer, not really knowing what comes on many items on the menu or not having previously tried them which was fine! I’d rather him be honest than lie.
We knew before we had gone that we were going to have the Cincinnati Style Chili Pizza, cause like I said we plan these cheat meals! We were just trying to decide our second pizza and our app. I’m a pretty picky eater so I always narrow it down and then let my boyfriend decide. After hearing the recommendations from the waiter we decided to pick one all three of us agreed on. The Three Cheese Focaccia and OMG… This delicious combination of cheese melted on top of slices of thick and crunchy focaccia bread, served on with a tangy vinaigrette, tomato & basil dressing. We instantly said if this is any idea of what we are having in our pizza we can not wait.
We decided on to go with a safe pizza and went with the Hawaiian Pizza, sans peppers. Both personal sized we decided to share between the two. They both arrived quickly, instantly remembered it was made it a brick oven and would come out quicker than expected. I started with the Hawaiian and it was good but not the best Hawaiian I have. I kind of instantly regretted not taking a risk and getting a different pizza. When I switched over to the Cincinnati Chili Pizza I was taken to chili paradise. It was so cheesy and delicious, I couldn’t help but even more greatly regret the idea of getting anything else but this pizza. Next time I am taking a risk and getting something outside my comfort zone because that is what it seems like The Works does well. If you are from or not from Cincinnati, you’ll love this pizza.
I cannot wait for our next trip to downtown Loveland to either visit our favorite neighboring Paxton’s Grill or coming back to the Works with friends to enjoy some more pizza!

Horribly horribly managed. Its consistent. It’s not the servers its management. Food isn’t bad at all. They hire good people. Good Flavors in food and plenty of beers on tap. Prices are great. Venue is fun relaxed and great. Horrible management leads to terrible delays,

Under staffed
Poorly trained staff giving inappropriate responses during seating and meal
No understanding of service tactics and strategy at management level
A gold mine for an owner to buy and build up. Probably running at 70% of profitability that it could be doing.
If you’re a great manager make an offer to the ownership to turnaround the place and get a percent of the incremental profits. $ 250,000 laying on the table.

Had no idea that this place was here. Just sorta stumbled across it on our way to another place and were hungry… so… Anyway, the feel is very typical for a sports bar-​like place, but it is set in an old train station or something. Sorta cool. They have a very good selection of beer on tap, which made me quite happy. Our server, Nick, was awesome. He was knowledgeable about the pizza and helped us to make a decision. He was super nice and got a better-​than-​average tip. :) We had the mediterranean pizza which was loaded with artichoke and feta. Very nice. Now I have had a ton of pizza at a lot of different places. This wasn’t the best, but far from the worst. What made it really good was the way it just fit with the surroundings. If I were to have a Dewey’s pizza sitting in this place, I would have felt odd. The pizza is baked in a brick-​oven and was easily the best brick-​oven pizza that I have had. Might even visit Loveland just for this place.

One of the best pizza we tried in Cincinnati suburbs. we ordered chicken fajita pizza & wings. Biith of them taste different than regular pizza from pizzahut or dominos. Defnitely recommend.

Great place to eat with great food and service. The owner is always out talking to the customers and helping the servers!

I probably only come here about once a year. The pizza is okay, but I’ve had better. I like supporting local businesses, so I try to stick to the pasta. The location right off the bike trail is nice and I’ve always had good service. The best part of my meal the last night I went was the salad.

Best way to describe this experience is pleasantly surprised. There were 4 of us and we pretty much ordered across the menu… Soup, salad, pasta, pizza. Everything was very good. The tomato basil soup was outstanding definitely recommend a bowl of that! The lettuce wedge was a little small, but was good. The breakfast pizza was surprisingly good.
Atmosphere was appropriate for what you’d expect by seeing this place from the outside. Overall a good experience.

I was a newbie to this place, having never heard of it, when my boss took me there for lunch. The building is awesome, a repurposed train station. The inside is awesome, as they kept much of the original «bones». It was a cold winter day when we went, and they had a nice fireplace going.
We got there around 2pm and it was DEAD. Fine with us. Had the BLT salad and Margherita Pizza. Both were delicious! Pizza had lots of cheese and a great blend of flavors, but what really surprised me was the salad dressing! Not just your run-​of-​the-​mill ranch, it was on a whole other level. To me, tasted just like the ranch dressing served at Jeff Ruby’s restaurants. DELISH.
Service was adequate, though a couple of questions we asked the server (young girl) stumped her. To be fair, they weren’t about the menu or anything but about the building itself and surrounding area.
Overall a great experience and I look forward to going back to try other other pizzas and pasta.

Neat place and the pizza is outstanding. This is a really good place for a casual date or for big groups. The pizzas are huge and they offer toppings for just about everyone’s taste. Good beer selection and as said before beat environment. Next time I go I’ll eat on the train car.

Great pizza and a cool atmosphere. It’s nicely laid out with a big bar and plenty of seating.
The pizza here is always great, and I’m a fan of the Cincinnati Chili Pizza myself! We visit family every few months and come from Nashville and always have to hit up The Works.
Parking is easy as there is a big lot, and it is a cool looking place with old train cars you can see from outside, and even dine in! The servers have always been pleasant and helpful. Never a bad time here!

Great service, neat building/​ambiance. We started with fried mac ‘n cheese, which was a first for us, but turned out to be pretty good, especially at the beginning when they were hot. Our pizza was decent. The flavors were good but it seemed like the cheese was put on top after the toppings had been cooked in the wood fire stove because there was a definite separation of the toppings in one layer, then the cheese in cooked on later.

This was a recent lunch stop on the way to some Sunday afternoon fun. I’m guessing this is one of the few kid-​friendly places in Loveland as it seemed that every table had a highchair/​kids. This is fine with me, but maybe speaks more about the other options in the area.
Our service was a bit lackadaisical, but also seemed to be mostly young (high school?) servers. There were some confusion on our bills, easily enough worked out, but it was a pretty basic meal with not many other patrons in the place. And the pizza… well, it wasn’t terribly memorable.
The atmosphere was good, and the beer list was sufficient. If I’m in the area, I might go back if the group I’m with wants to go, but alone, I’d probably look elsewhere.

This cute little place is in a revamped train station and they definitely kept the whole rustic feel to it. I love a good brick oven pizza and The Works did not disappoint.

This is one of the best restaurants in Loveland. Head for a run or a bike ride on the Loveland bike trail and then have dinner or lunch in this old fashion train station turned restaurant. The environment is very trendy, as it used to be an old train station and sits right near the railroad tracks near the bike trail. In fact, you can even eat in the train car or sit in the sunshine on the patio or inside among all of the trendy decorations.
Not only is the atmosphere pretty stellar, the food is delicious too! They are known for their wood fire pizza. My favorite is the Commish, a traditional pizza with pepperoni sausage, but they have several non-​traditional pizzas like peanut butter and jelly pizza or chicken Alfredo pizza. My parents claim that they have the best burger in town, as it is delicious!
I bring all of my friends who are in town to this restaurant, and I would completely recommended it for anybody who is passing through the quaint town of Loveland.

Went for lunch. Grilled cheese and soup. Good service and yummy food. I definitely need to take the family in. Love the building.

I ordered a salad while my girlfriend ordered a nice juicy burger (it was quite backwards). The salad was delicious yet a little tiny for the price I was paying. The burger on the other hand, full of flavor and gigantic so I got full off of the rest of her burger.
Overall, good find and a nice place to stop in for a beer and food after a nice bike ride.

The Works is a must visit! The pizzas are all cooked in a brick oven, all made to order, and all amazing. They have classic pizzas as well as a few unique themed pizzas. You can get a larger size that several people can share or an individual pizza.
The best part is that it’s not just the pizzas that are good. Their pastas, salads, and appetizers are great! The tomato basil soup is a personal favorite of mine.
The atmosphere is really great since the building is an old fire house. It’a very relaxed and casual. They typically have sports on tv but it doesn’t have that «sports bar» feel to it.
