I’ve take both my 2006 Volvo and 2009 Honda Odyssey to John and crew and could have not been happier. Very friendly and knowledgable. Honest and excellent shop — they are busy so call ahead before that oil change.

So happy to have discovered a perfect car repair shop!
After taking our two cars into a shop we had gone to for several years… and getting some costly estimates for work we were told needed to be done, we decided to get another opinion… just to see.
Was referred to John, at Uptown Auto Repair by 2 different people… and was very happy with the way they treated us!
After running a diagnostic on both cars… he made some minor adjustments, and both cars are now running very well, saving us over $ 1,000.00 of the original cost estimates from the first shop.
We will now be taking our vehicles in to John for any car issue… including getting our oil changed.
Finding a good car mechanic that you trust, is like finding a good family doctor. Priceless! (thanks, Janet!)

Took my Subaru here for diagnostics recently and was very impressed with the place. They were straightforward and courteous on the phone when I requested an appointment, got the job done quickly, and John spent over half an hour answering my questions and discussing the car’s problems in detail with me. I would definitely bring my car here again. They’re honest and go above and beyond.
