While attending a convention we stopped in for a quick bit about 45 minutes before they closed. We were seated and given menus. We were asked about drinks, and they were brought quickly. as was our appetizers. DELICIOUS cheese garlic bread.
Our meals were Chicken Parmigiana. Tortellini Alfredo, and Lasagna. The meals were delicious, we did take some home as left overs for Sunday. Fresh piping hot garlic bread was served with the meals as was a crisp salad. The pasta sauce was delcious, sweet with a touch of garlic. My son stated the Alfredo tortellini was «The best ever» but he says that alot but he did enjoy it. My wife really liked the ooey, gooey, cheesey lasagna.
With drinks it came to $ 39 with appetizer, kiddie cocktail diet coke, coke, and a beer and 2 entrees and a kids meal. Good deal, $ 8 tip and it was a $ 47 dinner well spent.

Go here confidently, you won’t be disappointed. Delicious deep dish pizza. I think it’s better than the Chicago heavy-​hitter chains personally. We got a 14 in deep dish with sausage and it easily fed 4 ppl, with 3 pieces left over. Best part was it was under $ 20.

All the food I’ve tried here is delicious. The pizza and cheesy italian beefs are my favorites no doubt. It is kind of small inside so we typically pick up or get delivery.

Best Italian beef my wife has ever had she said and she LOVES Italian beef. The sweet green peppers really helped set it off. The pizza was good and the spaghetti was good. Too many times I leave Italian food places with salty tongue but everything was seasoned perfectly and tasty. Service was spot on. Very happy to have stopped in whole passing through and will do so again next time I’m in town.

I was in the Rockford/​Loves Park area staying at the Holiday Inn Express in town and stumbled across this gem of a restaurant thanks to the other positive Unilocal reviews.
In my 5 day stay in town I managed to order ‘delivery’ 3 of my 5 days. Everything I tried from the Cheesy Beef sandwich, pizza and penne with alfredo sauce was AMAZING!
One thing I noticed was the friendliness of the staff from ordering, delivery and even making sure the things that other places tend to forget such as forks and napkins were in my delivery when the food arrive. Nothing worse than trying to eat penne with alfredo or a salad without a fork when you are staying at a hotel.
Wish I had a place like this near my home in Idaho, but now I have something to look forward to when I return to the area next year. Don’t wait, just order some deliciousness from this place! :)

I live right down the street from here, and I is super convenient to get food from here… I haven’t tried a lot of things here BUT everything I have tried is amazing.
The ambiance of the restaurant is nice!
While dining in I got the Italian beef sandwich with cheese and peppers, the portion size was huge and the sandwich was amazing. I had to take half of it home.
Another time, I got spinach and cheese deep dish pizza and it was literally THE BEST DEEP DISH EVER and I am from Chicago, so I know good deep dish when I have it. The crust was perfect and didn’t get soggy and there was the perfect amount of garlic and seasoning in the pizza.
I would recommend this place for both dine in (cute for a date) and for take out.

My go to Italian restaurant in Rockford. Never had a bad meal here. The Meat Classic thin crust Pizza is amazing, and although I’m sure that each slice goes straight to my coronary arteries — I can hardly wait to get it again.

What a fantastic restaurant! I am visiting from out of town for several days, and thought I would give this a try based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. The pizza is great, and my server gave me a tip to order an 8 inch kids pizza instead of the larger 12 inch that’s really better for two people. I added four meats and it was fantastic. I am definitely coming back. Highly recommended!

The thin crust pizza is good and I loved the bread sticks appetizer, the dining room is cramped and there is no waiting room so call ahead. The staff was good and came quickly, looks like they have a healthy take out business.

Full review: So Macianos has become a «Friday night and no kids» regular. I love their Chicken Florentine. Love it. The chocolate cake pieces are big enough that two people can split a splice. Holy cow– you need to try the chocolate cake. It is a little pricy, but you would spend more if you go out and get drinks with your food than you will having them deliver. My favorite place to have dinner delivery!

Came here for my birthday dinner with friends, trying to get some good deep dish pizza but skip the pandemonium of Girodano’s. Great choice! We were seated right away and the staff was attentive and friendly. Cozy atmosphere, though a bit drafty since this place is in a storefront in a strip mall, so anytime anyone came through the door it was chilly.
But our food was reasonably priced and amazingly delicious. We ended up getting pan crust pizza instead of deep dish, and the crust was unique. Very thick and bread-​like, like nothing I’ve had before. The pan pizza was very thick overall, no skimping here. We had bacon and mushroom, and the bacon was very generous. YUM. Big chunks!
No complaints except for being a little chilly at times. Wish we could have stayed and chatted longer also, but no harm. Would come back again!
