i ordered the cheese steak sandwich thinking it would be sliced steak but instead it was a low grade big chunk of steak in the bun with melted cheese over it. the steak was mostly fat and gristle. wish i can turn back time and order something different.

Our family has ordered from Rosaties about a dozen times. Always the same thing– pizza and wings. It was expensive– $ 40 to have a large pizza and 25 wings delivered. But the kids loved the wings and they are so good. The pizza is good but not the best. Based on the food alone I would give it 3 stars. Here is the short of my story: We ordered a pizza, waited two hours and it came cold. I have had this happen before and each time the pizzeria, whether local or chain, apologized and either had food sent right out or made an attempt to keep us as a customer. No such luck here. A little disappointed that I won’t return again. The long of it: This Rosati’s gets 1 star. And here is why… Everything other than the food is disappointing. Since we live a short distance away we decided to start ordering pick up. Always, always the answer was 25 minutes till it was ready. And always, always we would get there around 25 minutes after we called and then wait another 25 minutes. Tolerable if the other option is Papa Johns or Dominos, right? Then tonight we order a pizza at 6:10 and are told that it will be 45 – 60 minutes. We wait for an HOURAND A HALF without a delivery or phone call, so we call them and ask what has happened. The manager, Betty, tells us that they are busy and we are looking at another 30 – 40 minutes wait! We ask what, if anything, they are going to do to make this right– we had recently become regular customers and felt that it was appropriate. The manager offered us a whole $ 2.00 off. I think they charge more than that just for delivery? So a few minutes to 8, the delivery man arrives. Yup– 2 hours later. We open the boxes and what do we see? Cold pizza and wings!!! At this point, I am upset, disappointed, hungry. I call Roasati’s, ask to speak to a manager and am given back to Betty. I explained that we had waited almost 2 hours, been told 45-minutes to an hour when we initially ordered, and that our food had arrived cold. Betty remembered her earlier conversation with my girlfriend and restated that she had offered to take $ 2.00 off, and she was sorry because it was the holidays. I have to say that the way I typed that comes across much better than the way it was communicated to me. Really, she sounded like she thought her $ 2.00 off was generous and that I should simply accept an apology. I felt a little stunned and simply told her that we enjoy their food and were disappointed with them and our recent experiences(which had also included an incorrect order). Ugh. It doesn’t matter if the food is better than chain– if you have to wait to hours and then feel like you wasted your time to even discuss this poor customer service with a manager. I won’t bother again.

This is my favorite pizza in town. If you’re a fan of the crispy thin crust with a perfect amount of cheese, then this is your place. The place itself is a little weird. They have a screen door on the front, which opens in and cuts off the space. I recommend you get it delivered.
