This place is great. Everything is made hot and fresh. Service is fast and friendly. Better than any school dining hall on North Campus.

My UML student kids LOVE this very casual place to hang out & eat. It’s their«go to» place to meet & eat. PRO– Great bubble teas, friendly staff, good food too. They are nice about giving out samples, which my «not too adventurous eater» kids really like. . CON — I got nothing… wait…on street parking stinks, but that’s city life for ya. Update-kid informs me that there is parking BEHIND the place in a pay lot just fyi. SO– If you find yourself in the UML area & want an eggroll or some Asian food, you can’t go wrong here. If you got a kid there you are visiting or are taking the college tour, go here for a quick lunch. You won’t be sorry.

Been here a few times I like the place next to Umass Lowell. Parking is harder then getting into Harvard University. There’s a fairly large parking lot but the restaurant makes no mention of it. Try all the different kinds of rolls they offer. Prices is decent and not going to put a whole in your pocket. Staff is always nice and make you feel welcomed. It’s a cool place to grab lunch and study before school. They serve basic beer and wine.

Good little place. I always get the samosa eggrolls but their other ones are great as well! I recommend the chutney sauce to go with your egg rolls. The boba tea is really good as well, not as good as what you can get from places like H Mart. The place is a little bit pricey but about the standard for Asian Fusion. They can get busy around lunch time so don’t be prepared to immediately find a seat.

If you love eggrolls then you should try to sampler platter. Great bento box options for lunch or dinner. Drinks are pretty good too. Lots of options milk teas, juices, and slush. Attended a special event night on a Friday and it was pretty packed. You could still order to go and drinks while event is still going on. A bonus for having good selection of board games and not lame kiddie board games for under 10. Although connect four can get pretty competitive.

I absolutely love this place. The crab Rangoon egg rolls are amazing! Everything is cooked when ordered, so no stale egg rolls here. Not the most inexpensive around, but the quality is worth it.

Great eggroll platters! The crowd is always in favor of the famous platter from eggroll café when I bring them to parties. I like to mix it up sometimes. My favorites are the crab rangoon, cheeseburger and southwest. The owners are super friendly. The drinks are really tasty and I love the sealed lid for the bubble teas. Throughout the year, there are various events like Open mike night etc that are fun for everyone. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

This place is okay. I came here based on Unilocal reviews. The concept is golden but the food and drink is average. Their food isn’t bad but it’s nothing worth raving about. I’ve had better bubble tea in other shops around Lowell. After ordering the egg roll platter, I realized it would be more appetizing to eat an actual cheeseburger or a box of pizza rather than having a small portion in an egg roll. These tiny egg rolls are overpriced and I swear I could of made any of them myself. But I get the appeal of the café for college students. It’s just not my type of place.

They’ve got the best bubble teas in town, hands down! They even have really funny tip jars.

Their egg rolls are really good! Especially the best selling crab Rangoon! Cute place with everything including bubble tea and beer. The egg rolls are a little overpriced for what they are. 2 egg rolls for $ 3.50 and they are not that big. Their bento box was pretty good, small portions though!
If you haven’t been to the Eggroll Café yet, please go! The food is amazing! My favorites are the cheeseburger and crab rangoon flavors! The owner of the business generally cares about the experience of the customers and the quality of the food and experience. The staff is very kind and polite as well. There is no parking lot, as stated by other reviewers, so be prepared to parallel park when stopping by. Eggroll Café is easily one of my favorites in Lowell!

Out of the available options for eating on campus at UML, The Eggroll Café is probably the most expensive, save for Southwick’s Aramark run cafeteria. That said, what you get in terms of service and quality of food is exponentially better. During peak hours(lunch/dinner) the restaurant is typically packed, and for good reason. The staff is friendly, coffee is good, and the food is better than to be found in or around UML’s North Campus.

I love the place. It’s a great place to eat snacks and play board games with friends. For snacks they offer eggroll with different fillings such as crab ragoons, steak and cheese, cheese burger, and more! They sell eggroll and around 2 $ each for 2 pieces an order. They also have bento boxes which have rice with a meat dish. I’ve had the honey chicken bent box a couple times. The portion is small for the price you pay. I recommend the chicken fried rice there if you guys don’t want to try something new. Oh! And they also have bubble tea– green tea, strawberry, lychee, watermelon, etc. And you can get a free drink upgrade if you log into Unilocal

Best boba tea in the area. I am picky and hate everything so I know what I am talking about.

Apparently the best boba place in Lowell. I went here recommended by a friend. Parking was a big challenge to find especially on a Friday night with metered parking and residential parking. I went with a group of friends and we each ordered a drink. The Thai tea is definitely my favorite from today. It tasted like actual Thai tea and this became one of my favorites. Another was a peach tea which was really sweet. I think they put a lot of peach syrup flavoring which made it so sweet but I love sweet things so it’s okay. Another was a mango tea, this one didn’t really have as much syrup in it and tasted more like tea. But I didn’t really drink a lot of it so I guess my opinion is eh for this drink. I had a taro milk tea. Least favorite drink, sorry. The initial taste was good for sure. It was sweet just like typical taro drinks. But the after taste is where it got me. Sure it’s not real and it’s probably artificial, it had a weird texture in the back of my throat. In my throat it felt like powder stuck in the back. Strange. Didn’t like it.

There is limited parking by the restaurant. Your luck is pressed to off-street, metered parking as I didn’t see any free parking lots for surrounding businesses. I’ve seen signs for Eggroll Café dispersed randomly throughout the collegiate area of town(close to the part of town I’m grew up in)… and I never went in thinking it was too catered for the local college students. Well, I’m pregnant now and I decided I wanted an atypical egg roll! Upon walking in, the restaurant is decently decorated. It reminds me of bubble tea shops out in the west coast. Immediately to your right would be the area where the employees make bubble teas. There is a small cooler by the register where you can purchase soft drinks, water and Asian drinks to go with your order. There’s also a little bookshelf of board games you can play to pass time. After seeing such rave reviews on Unilocal,I decided enough was enough and I needed to try something off the menu. Over a span of two weeks, my H, brother and I have tried the crab rangoon, steak & cheese, buffalo chicken and spinach & feta, samosa and chicken curry egg rolls. The best of what we tried were the crab rangoon(the Unilocal reviews weren’t kidding– they’re really good! Just make sure you order ‘em and eat ‘em fresh or they’re so-so…) and buffalo chicken. The curry chicken was less than desirable. Moreover, the bubble tea selection, like many of the other shops in town, are prepared with powder. Ehh. I prefer drinking the real stuff, but whatever. Also, I have to note that the egg rolls are not prepared fresh to order. The egg rolls are made, in bulk, some time in the weeks or months prior and fried to order. I have yet to try the bentos that are offered and I’m looking forward to those next.

Food is ok, bubble teas are great, management/service is HORRIBLE. Stay away from the taro. Sometimes it’s too chalky. Or maybe that’s a reflection on the server making it.

Food was beyond disappointing. Egg rolls were over priced. I had the chicken basil and curry chicken. I took a bite of each and threw it away. The flavors were terrible. It was a waste of my money. 2 stars are for the location and atmosphere.

I have a love hate relationship with the egg roll café. Egg rolls are one of my fav. snacks in the world. I was like the only Asian kid’s family that didn’t know how to make them. So — I always sought them out at my favorite Vietnamese banh mi shops. Egg roll café is Americanize. I actually really like the intimate atmosphere. It’s right next to uml and a great atmosphere to just hang. But the food– well it’s no 60 cent amazing egg roll you get at the banh mi joints. Yet– I really like the steak and cheese, samosa, dessert ones, and any other the other fillings. It’s like I want to hate crab rangoons because I’m Chinese and real Chinese people don’t eat that stuff. However, I do. Yes, I really do. When I am back in town, I will see you again!
