Food is good gets the job done. The sushi is pretty good and so are the kitchen dishes. I did notice that the crab rangoons weren’t very filled like before which was a bummer. For the all you can eat buffet I feel like the waitress who I think is the owner too tends to disappear for a while which gets really irritating when you need any of the basics. I feel like she might be cooking in the kitchen too and waiting the tables. Also I went in there recently and it was absolutely freezing in there I had to wear my coat and it’s not comfortable eating with a coat on. We asked if they could turn on the heat since it was clearly off. The woman said ok but never turned it on. It’s the middle of the winter in New England I don’t understand why they think it’s ok to have people eating in a cold restaurant. I’ve gone to take out places warmer than this and we all know they tend to be a little cold.

I’ve gotten take-out here a handful of times and I can say this place is just ok. The food is not terrible but not great either, just something to fill your tummy at a fair price. Not very authentic. There’s better places to get Chinese food and sushi, but we come here out of convenience since this place is so close. The bad — once I ordered vegetarian delight and asked for extra garlic. When I got home, I realized the garlic was burnt, and burnt garlic doesn’t taste very good. The good — to be fair, I’ve tried the chicken wings and French fries, and those are really good here. I don’t expect too much when I come here. Sometimes they will do some weird things. For instance, the other day we ordered two sushi deluxe entrees, which comes with two miso soups(one per each entrée). When I looked in the bag, there was only one soup container. I asked about this, and she said they just combined the two soups together in the same container. She said if I wanted, she would separate it for me, but I told her no it was ok. Not really a big deal, but it just struck me as odd the way they packaged the order. And one other thing, they always give us Chinese soy sauce(red packets) with the sushi. You are supposed to use Japanese soy sauce(green packets). It’s lighter and it is a little different. I really don’t know what’s up with that, but it’s weird and drives me nuts. All in all, it’s a hit or miss. I will still be coming back since its convenient and close for me. They have an all you can eat special: lunch 14.95, dinner 19.99, but I haven’t eaten inside the restaurant, so I can’t speak for that. The inside is very clean and cozy, so I wouldn’t be opposed to dining in sometime. I just haven’t had the chance.

Called in advance and they quoted me 15 minutes. Walked in 16 minutes later and the food wasn’t ready. Waited about 10 more minutes inside for it, no biggie for me. Just make sure not to rush to get your food. The place is casually decorated inside, most definitely not your special occasion spot or lets go on a date restaurant but if you want good food at a decent price come here. The sushi I ordered was really good and really fresh. My boyfriend had Chinese food and the portions were large as well. I will order from here again for sure.

I dont know many places that serve such a variety of asian cuisines under one roof and Foody Goody does it super well. I’ve been there a hand full of times and it is one of my favorite places to eat. All you can eat sushi, crab rangoons, chicken wings. whats not to love? I’ve never experienced a really long wait, maybe people are just extra hungry for sushi when they go so one minute might feel like 5. Its worth the wait, either way.

Absolutely love it. I used to come more than twice a week because the food is that good! I love their teriyaki beef and chicken, their salt pepper squid and the sushis are fantastic too. My favorite has to be the green tea ice cream because the flavor is so unique! The owners family is very nice and they take good care of us every time. I’d recommend to every one of my friends and I’d definitely going to come back for more.

Love this place! Where else can you get fresh all you can eat sushi and Chinese for the price?! The price is amazing and the food is just as good ! Have been many times and plan on continuing to eat here. A must try!

Friendly staff, bad location. Food was average, not bad but not great either. The Chinese dishes were over seasoned. Sushi had its visual appeal but the taste was bland. I can say I’ve tried it, but I won’t be going back.

I ate here before it was Foody Goody and it was very good. I recently ordered a combo plate and some sushi and it was not the same. They obviously changed owners over the past few years. I will never eat here again, especially not the sushi. You can tell the fish was not fresh.

Stopped coming here because the oil used in this restaurant’s food gave me and my friend an upset stomach. I don’t think they clean their deep fryers often.

Food was great and service was nice. Only complain is the length of time it takes to get my food especially when I am the only guy in the place. Great food!

EEh came here for lunch. Service was slow, took forever. My friend got a piece of sushi that had the gross crunchy end of the shrimp tail in it. Meat was weird in the dumplings, and the general tso chicken was weird and really really gooey. Probably will not go back. Can’t really think of anything spectacular about this place.

Foody Goody? More like servey bady! The food was *great* but it took forever for it to come out, and once we finished our first plate of sushi it took about 20 minutes of four people sitting at a table full of empty plates to get the waitress(of which there was only one! Poor girl) to even acknowledge us, and we had to flag her down! Then a bunch of stuff we ordered never came out. For some reason the ice cream we ordered came out in the middle of the meal. To be honest, i’ll probably find myself back there again. Despite the service, that 20 $ sushi deal is unreal!

Even though today is Valentine’s day you would expect a place to have a good amount of staff working… Nope not this place one lady and her daughter against a army of customers. I went in for the buffet. Sat around for a good 40 minutes before getting the sushi we ordered. But the worst part is we sent the menu for the kitchen first and still haven’t received one item it’s been 1hr and 20 mins and we’re still waiting. probably never coming here again plus there no parking

I can’t believe we’ve never heard about this place until our cousin went to this«Fresh all you can eat» sushi joint. We visited the restaurant for lunch today and Ronnie’s directions were accurate, the restaurant was located on the beginning of Lakeview Ave., right across the street from the iconic comic book store. Parking was spacious and we were the only ones there for lunch at 1:00PM, New Years Day. I was a bit apprehensive since no one else was dining at the establishment.(When we left, there were 4 other groups that came in and many other take out orders so I felt better) The restaurant was extremely clean and there were many tables. It appears to be a family run operation as the woman who I assume is the mother was the single hostess/server along with her pre-teen daughter helping out with drinks and running some of the appetizers. There was another younger daughter on her i-Pad watching movies. We were seated promptly and brought a couple of different menus, the a la carte menu and the all you can eat Chinese and sushi menu. I thought it was pretty cool that we could write on the actual menu to indicate the quantities and menu items we wanted to order. Usually we would get a separate paper to check off. We started off with the colossal pan fried pork dumpling that came with two in the order. The dumpling were pretty tasty with the perfect crisp on one side and a soft wrap on the other side.(the pictures doesn’t do it justice, it’s probably twice the size of the average dumpling /peking ravioli) Although the shrimps used in the fried shrimp appetizer were a bit smaller, the portion made up for it. The shrimps were battered and fried in a panko crust and served with duck sauce. It was good but nothing to write home about, maybe I’m biased because I wished the shrimps were larger. Similar to the other appetizer, the dish was garnished with parsley and a maraschino cherry. We didn’t want to over order and have lots of leftovers so we limited ourselves to only three maki rolls. Just like all the other similar sushi places, if you don’t eat all the food, they charge you for the leftovers. My husband loves eel so we had to get the dragon roll, eel and cucumber wrapped with avocado and topped with tobiko and the sweet sauce. We also ordered our usual favorite, the Philadelphia roll with salmon and cream cheese. Instead of the boring shrimp tempura roll, we took it up a notch and ordered the yummy tummy roll which is a shrimp tempura roll topped with salmon and drizzled with a sweet chili sauce, similar to the Mae Ploy sauce that I eat with eggrolls. The Maki rolls were a little bit above average. They were good but definitely not as tasty as other high end establishments. We ordered the regular seaweed salad in addition to the spicy seaweed salad that had a nice wasabi kick to it. I really loved the idea that we were able to order from the kitchen menu and weren’t limited to Japanese menu offerings as the other restaurants. We split a General Tso and shrimp phad thai. The portions were perfect, enough for just us two without us worrying anything would go to waste(aka us having to pay extra.) I have to praise them for using chicken breast for the General Tso chicken which is a premium meat. Typically, dark meat is used and I actually prefer that over breast but I’m sure 90% of other people like the white meat. My favorite dish was the shrimp phad thai. They did not skimp on the shrimp and it was full of flavor and texture from the bean sprouts, noodles and peanuts. We asked for sriracha and hot chili oil and they were happy to oblige. Overall, I think the food was great for the value. The all you can eat menu only set us back $ 14.95 each. My only regret is that I didn’t know there was a dinner menu for $ 19.95 that offered many other menu items including sashimi and other specialty rolls, the Spider Roll(soft shell crab) being our absolute favorite. Service was a bit slow as there was only one person handling most of the hosting/waitressing/food running/bussing/takeout orders, etc) but if you are patient, it’s worth it or if you are like me, just flag down the daughter. I stopped at Foody Goody for lunch takeout recently, which serves up Chinese cuisine plus sushi and sashimi. I ordered the L10 Chicken with Mixed Vegetables & choice of appetizer($ 6.95 plus tax), which was ready to go in under 10 minutes. The main dish had a mix of big flat boneless chicken pieces, broccoli, celery, zucchini, carrots, baby corn, & asparagus, served with a dark colored fried rice with a mix of onions and roast pork cubes. The 2 beef teriyakis were tender and sweet. Overall, the food was pretty good and portion was just right for lunch.

Sushi buffet. Only $ 19.99/ person. Took my kids, ages 9 and 5. My oldest was charged $ 11.95 and my youngest, $ 5. Sushi was good and fresh. I recommend the sexy girl roll. Wicked yummy. Also try the shrimp yaki udon noodles. Soooo good! But do not order more than you can eat. They will charge you an extra 30%.
