Charming little café in a very open setting. The personnel are quick to address any issues and, more importantly, they keep a friendly, local disposition. The food offerings are pretty yum, sandwiches between standard bread types(and croissants/wraps). They offer breakfast the entire time they’re open, which is good for late risers. The food seems to be pretty fresh, from the roast beef wrap that had just finished roasting(we waited a bit on that, but that’s on us) to the fresh cut french fries and«homemade» chicken salad. The ambiance has a distinct charm to it. The seating is on a circular hardwood platform surrounded by wrought iron in an open area at the Textile History Museum lobby and where The Lowell Sun’s offices are. It must suck to work in a dying industry(The printed word) but at least you’ve got your quality lunches covered. Best part: very reasonable prices considering the quality and service. Go ahead and find a Friendly’s restaurant if you want to pay the same price for crappier food and miserable service. ***note: by the time you read this, ALL Friendly’s may have gone belly-up***
