High St Laundromat

The place was GROSS… the fabric softner dispensers in the machines were so caked up with old softner you couldn’t add any. The attendant was rude. When I mentioned that the dryers were not drying my clothes even after a second cycle, she told me that it was the customer’s responsibility to clean the lint traps that were labeled «Clean DAILY», when I explained that I didn’t feel it was the customer’s responsibility to clean up after previous customers, she called me ignorant. She then came back over to me, not once, but twice, to continue on the disagreement that I thought had ended. Even after I stated that I would not return, she did nothing to try and retain my business. OH, and the floor was disgusting, only getting attention after I mentioned her paying more attention to her cell phone than her job responsibilities.
Only go here if you wish to bring home more than just your laundry… failing to maintain their machines surely must contribute to sanitation issues as their dryers do not get hot enough to kill anything.
And it should not take over three hours to do laundry when the place is nearly empty of patrons… should have been my first clue as it was a Sunday evening!
