Lowell Distrct Court

I just completed jury duty at the courthouse. So for those interested here is the key info.
1. Food/​Drinks are OK for jurors, ignore the signage. You will want to make sure to bring a bottle of water or grab one during your first break, which for us was around 9:30AM
2. Electronics were OK as well: iPads, Kindles, mobile phones. They need to be turned off when you go into the courtroom, but there is no issue using them while you waited. If not electronics, bring a book, its boring
3. Building itself is worn out. A/​C worked poorly, furniture is dated and uncomfortable. There are a limited enough of outlets if you need to plugin electronics.
4. Court officers are really the best part. They did a good job keeping us up to date when they could, gave us key information when we needed, had a great sense of humor. I would say make sure to listen to them, and be nice and they will take care of you.
