Always Tan

I do not normally write reviews, but after today I felt the urge. I have to say, the salon itself is magnificent. It’s super clean, beautifully decorated, and the equipment is wonderful! I love the feel of the salon, that is, except for the staff. Now I cannot completely speak down upon the staff because the first day I walked into the salon I was approached by a big smile and a lot of helpful information. I wish I would have gotten the girl’s name that helped me because I would love to acknowledge her in my review, she was very friendly!
As for the rest of the staff, I cannot help but be disappointed. A salon this nice should receive a 5 star, but customer service is a biggy for me! Every time I walk into the salon I automatically feel unwelcome. I am not greeted with a smile, but instead I barely receive eye contact. In addition to feeling unwelcome, I get scared to ask questions about the concerns I have regarding my tan because they make me feel as if I’m wasting their time. I think the staff could do a much better job at creating a place where customers feel welcome and at home. All it takes is a smile sometimes.

After the horrible incident I had, I received a phone call from the manager at Always Tan. She explained to me some of the issues that caused Donna to react the way she did at my previous visit. While this was unacceptable, I did appreciate the fact that I received a phone call and an apology. Hopefully all will be well in the future.
