He may be a great surgeon, but his way of handling children is disrespectful to them. He just suddenly got in my child’s face… zero warning to place drops. They burned. No warning. (Not even a warning to us) My child freaked out, cried, and was confused as to the lack of warning. Then the Dr had the nerve to tell me my child was undisciplined and argumentative because of home schooling. Ummm… no. My child was ambushed by an authority figure in his/​her mind. If they aren’t shown consideration, the doctor shouldn’t expect it in return.
Treat them like people and get some compassion and maybe it would go better. My child has never been that way at any other doctor. Even when getting shots, or in the ER when the eye was injured. We would never go back. Ever.
