Gamestop has really come a long ways in the last four years with its customer service. I used dislike shopping at any gamestop here I felt like I was getting ripped off. However things have changed, and they seem like a more respectable place to shop for games. I really do like their power up rewards programs, midnight launch parties. I am a true gamer here and have really good experiences with their sales team. You just have to do your research and know what you are purchasing before you head in there. You tell exactly what you are looking for and wanting and they should have it. I am a true gamer, and I will say I will be getting the PS4 from Gamestop.

I’m a casual gamer. I honestly don’t know alot outside of the Up-Down-Up-Down-Left-Right-Left-Right stuff. I swung by because I was given Rockbank instruments but no game. I went in and had a hard time getting somebody to give me straight answer on the best RockBand game to buy. Because they were no help, I was adventurous and decide to buy the cheapest one I could to piss them off. $ 3 later and my job was done, I left and don’t plan on going back.

I. HATE. THIS. PLACE. Gamestop is generally an unpleasant shopping experience, but this place really is truly awful. Since I started shopping here, I’ve bought«new» games with scratches on them, gone home with empty game boxes, been turned down for a refund when I returned a game not an hour after I purchased it, and – this one really takes the cake – was forced to wait outside for two hours while waiting for Smash Bros. Brawl to be released last March. At midnight. In the cold. Without a jacket. Watching the employees standing around inside laughing and having a grand old time. I swore then that I would never go to a Gamestop ever again. Unfortunately, they’re still the best place to go for those rare, obscure games, but typically I just order from eBay or Amazon for that. I refuse to give this glorified pawn shop any more of my money. Honestly, any other place is better – Best Buy, Hastings, and even Wal-Mart is better than this place. Only go here if you can’t find a game you want anywhere else.
