I went in while they only had one gentleman working during a busy lunch hour and had to wait a while to buy a battery. BUT I have to say the guy working (Glen?) was doing an OUTSTANDING job even though he was by himself with several other customers and a phone ringing off the hook. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The help that got back from lunch was also very polite and knew his stuff.
4 stars only because they didn’t have the battery I wanted and I ended up settling for less cold cranking amps than I wanted (but also at a lower price). My option was 530 CCA or 800 for a ’12 Camry. 800 is overkill in my opinion. Was looking for somewhere 600 – 700 CCA range.

Called to see if they installed batteries. Yes for $ 20 he replies roughly. I like interstate batteries, but don’t like to give my money to people who can’t be polite on the phone. Went to Sam’s and had a very good experience with the staff. Probably not as good a battery, but it will do. Oh and FYI, an interstate battery outlet in Corpus Christi didn’t charge for the installation, nor did Sam’s. I suspect this guy is more interested in wholesale business and not so much retail. The last interstate battery i got in Lubbock was through a local repair shop.

Very nice man, but his quotes are outrageously high. Or it couldve just been that I’m a girl and he thinks I probably don’t know better
