As someone who has been to many Chiropractors(7 since 2005) for sports adjustments and other back and neck issues, I can say that Doctor Helton and Chambless are by far the worst chiropractors i have ever been treated by. How they operate, you go in the first time get xrays, they put you on a decompression table or another contraption depending on where your pain comes from = $ 140. You go in the second time, they try to adjust you without palpitating(very painful). Two days later on your third visit, they go over what they want(chiropractor BS about your wellbeing) then they take you into a room where the insurance lady sits you down and gives you two payment options either 10 payments of $ 66(without insurance it’s $ 134) or a lump sum of $ 550(discounted). It’s a sales pitch but you are stuck in the room till you pick an option(I wish I would have ran away at this point). The Chiropractors do not Palpitate you(check your back by lightly pressing to feel where you are tight), so when they adjust you, they always miss where they need to be adjusting and it is very painful. They use terrible form for adjusting the lower back(table is always too low and they don’t secure your position thus making them miss the mark and cause pain). There is no balancing support of leg length from Chambless, and Helton uses table drops in one direction(which will not free up the sacroiliac joint causing your leg to be compressed) and he does not verify his adjustments actually worked. They do not work the legs at all which means anything you get adjusted will only be a temporary fix since your legs are the shock absorbers for your hips/back. They rely heavily on their chiropractic technology like their decompression tables and wall sits, which really are just cool contraptions for you to think they know what they are doing with those things… they don’t pull hard enough to do anything. Overall, going to this chiropractor has been a very expensive waste. You can literally see where your money is going by looking at any of their 154k tv’s they have up. After seeing this chiropractor 10 times and paying $ 550, I told them I would not be showing up anymore and to cancel all appointments. These people have such good reviews, I was really hoping they’d be good.

Dr. Helton has been my chiropractor for 3 years now. I will not trust my care with any other office. I am very picky. This is the best and most thorough office in town. My husband has been to a couple of other doctors offices(this week) with no relief and tried Dr. Chambless today within this office and received top notch care. He is difficult to please and has a serious chronic back issue but was so pleased with his care today. We will definitely be coming back!

Dr. Helton is the only chiropractor I have ever visited, so I don’t have much of a basis for comparison, but… I recommend him to everyone I know because he has helped me so much. And in turn he has helped everyone I know become healthier. His staff is very nice and professional, and the facility is always clean and calm. Dr. Helton has a very calming aura about him, and communicates very clearly. He takes the time to answer your questions, no matter how many you have. I feel that he truly cares about the health of his patients, that this is not ‘just a job’ to him. He offers many different treatments, and is in the process of learning acupuncture as well, so he can always find a treatment that works for you. If you are looking for a chiropractor, hands down, he is the best in town.
