Lone Star Event Center is what it is… one of the few options we have in Lubbock when it comes to music. Tonight the line for Breaking Benjamin wrapped so far around that we ended up in the front of Nightmare on Nineteenth — hello 45 minute ticket line — which is only to be expected when you open the gates so close to when the concert starts. While they do sell beer and test tube shots, they can’t sell you water in anything but cheap red solo cups because apparently «water bottles get out of hand». I love having my water spilled by drunk concert fans because they won’t just sell me the stupid bottle of water.

This is the biggest sh**hole I’ve ever been to. The acoustics were terrible, the bathrooms were… well, I wasn’t lying when I described it first 5 words of this review. I seriously don’t know what they could do to make this a better venue. Tear it down and start over?
