My family enjoys planetariums so we decided to check this one out.
For starters — it is in the Texas Tech museum. The museum is free but the planetarium is extra.
We had to ask where to buy tickets because it is not well organized. The girl was courtesy. It was odd that there were no tickets, she said she would remember us.
Inside it was out dated and small. The show was not very good and boring.
I would advise to skip this place.

I’ve always wanted to go to the planetarium since I was a little kid. At the tender age of 26, I finally got to go.
The Good:
We caught the regular Thursday afternoon show. It was a trip! I never thought lasers could be so entertaining.
The Bad:
The show is about 30 minutes long and filled with music from the 90’s. I guess they don’t put out new laser shows like they used to?
After sitting through about 15 minutes of the show, things start feeling redundant.
Overall:
I’d go back to the planetarium to check out the other shows. I hadn’t had such a unique visual experience like that since eating some things I shouldn’t have eaten.
