LOVE the brownies! I could eat them everyday. Huge portions and the perfect combo of fudgy/cake awesomeness. Outer sweet and crusty layer is just heavenly to taste. My husband raves about the tiny delicious thumbprint cookies and can’t get enough. My daughter loves the decorated sugar cookies which are just too cute. My sons favorite is the double chocolate brownies. Mine are hands-down the caramel ones. Yummy yum, yum. Highly recommended!

This bakery is delicious! Since I’ve found them I have used them for all special occasions. The owner is Firefighter, Police, EMS friendly which is so great and you receive a special discount if you or an immediate family is one of those. the staff is sweet and professional! They are also very capable of doing things you want. If you don’t want fondant on a difficult cake, they have no problem doing buttercream.

The Simply Decadent birthday cake that I ordered for my daughter’s birthday was amazing… from the designs to the flavor! Not only was the cake delicious, but their customer service was great too. Their cakes cost more than the cakes from supermarket bakeries, but it’s worth it!

Professionalism: 2⁄5. Made a huge mistake with my custom order. Fixed the issue but I had to come back again to pick up the fixed product. Driving all over town for what was clearly their mistake. They clearly didn’t even look at the paper to see what the product was supposed to say. No eye for detail. Thank goodness I wasn’t on a time crunch and that it wasn’t a wedding cake!!! The little girl up front didn’t know how to use the computer system both times I came in. The guy is the only one who seems to know how to use it. A new system is no excuse a week later– learn how to use it or get out of the cash register. Presentation 3⁄5. The writing was not very neat. The pieces weren’t even remotely even. Taste/texture: 4⁄5. Taste was yummy. To many seeds and probably should have baked a little longer. All of this combined with a prior experience of closing out the register early so they couldn’t take my cash for a gift card right before a major holiday– I’m done.

Highly recommended! I ordered my daughter’s birthday cake and everyone in the party was pretty impressed. The French macaroons was really good too! Thank you guys, we are very satisfied customers and we will be coming back for my son’s birthday next month!

I only had their macarons, so my review will be specifically about their macarons. The ideal French macarons should have(1) no hollow,(2) not gooey or too dry shells, and(3) flavorful butter cream or guanache in the middle. I had their macarons three times so far and it has been disappointing. When I bite into a macaron, I immediately noticed a big hollow. Under the outer layer, what is needed is raised dough. As soon as I noticed this hollow, I was fearful of trying further. I bit into further, and there was a gooey dough that was not baked to raise properly. The cream was nothing special. It was a sweet butter cream but without much attempt to make it very flavorful. As the macarons as very sensitive to air temperature and moisture when drying the shells and baking, I gave them two other attempts. However, my experience was exactly the same. The ‘pie’(‘foot’ in French referring to the crinkled dough at the bottom) was the only thing that made it look like the French macarons — but the texture of the shell and the cream need to be worked out further. I recommend them using Italian merengue and experiment with the oven a bit more and check the amount of ‘macaronage’ to improve the texture. A bonus point for trying to bring«French macarons’ to Lubbock. But I hope they had a chance to eat macarons by Pierre Herme to find out how the ‘ideal’ macarons should taste like.

I went in two hours before they were closing and although the cake I ordered was dry, the cheesecake I ordered was amazing. Also, the coffee was really great. They had this cute little coffee bar, well the whole place was adorable, like it has been since it was open. The case was clean and the service was friendly. I even asked to take pictures and the owner was fine with that. This place has been here for some time but I usually just end up forgetting about it. I should not however because this place has the best coffee that I have found in a bakery. It’s amazing it’s worth the cost of getting it from a place that makes it here instead of getting regular coffee. I ordered a cake for someone a week later and couldn’t resist another amazing cup of coffee, besides my raving for the coffee the service was incredible everyone was smiling and happy to let me take pictures. If the cake had tasted like champagne or had been moist I would’ve given them five stars, actually I wish that I could give a four and half because everything else was great. I will definitely be going back!

I travel extensively, and I am a HUGE fan of desserts, so of course I have to try different places where ever I go. I have had macaroons all over the country, and oddly enough the best ones I have ever tasted(besides my own) are at this place! Seriously, they know what they are doing. Very impressed!

Well. This place has a great potential of being the ultimate destination, but its not there yet! Positives: 1– the place is cute! 2– quiet and has seatings, not like some other places where u buy and eat in the car! 3– friendly staff and clean. Makes u wana stay 4– the flavors of everything i tried were amazing! 5– the ginger cookies were to die for! A little bit on the sweet side tho Negatives: 1– the texture! I tried the caramel brownie, which they had samples of and i immediately ordered a piece! When I started eating it, it was too sweet, gooey, and felt almost undercooked… The corner was so delicious but the center was too soft for my taste. 2– i tried the pecan pie, the filling and the pieces of the pecans on top were amazing! My problem was with the crust. It was dry and had a weird flavor to it! Im not sure if it was the type of fat they use or it was just an old crust! It was not what I expected.

Best wedding cakes ever! Beautiful, delicious and nothing less than extraordinary customer service and a professional business owner. Krista is well organized and very thorough in her planning and business practices. The cakes are all made entirely from scratch and our guests ate every single bite. I would recommend estimating your servings upward because no one will turn it down.

I came in yesterday AND today for more! I brought friends each time and everyone loved their pastries. We tried the cheesecake(chocolate and strawberry), raspberry brownie, strawberry filled cupcake, sour cream blueberry pie, and their signature Simply Decadent cookie. They even serve J&B coffee! The bakery is cute and cozy. Krista(owner and founder of the bakery) is creative and is always serving up new, exciting twists on classic favorites. I am excited that Krista will be making my graduation cake, too!

Simply decadent round 2: I know I said I would never come back for the cinnamon rolls but I went back on my word! Only because the freindly owner messaged me becuase she was genuinely concerned that I had an isolated bad experienced. She was right. It was warm and gooey! The inside was nice and soft. Just as it should be. The flavors are wonderfully balanced. This is definately one of those things that YOUMUST eat while its hot. Its a good size for $ 3.25. Enough for two to share. I was pleased to see 4 flavors of macarons today! I didnt have any(I can only handle so much sugar this early). Anyways, awesome customer service and the warm cinnamon roll in my belly give this place an extra 2 stars.

This is one amazing bakery! The gluten-free cake was so moist! It was absolutely outstanding. I will not go anywhere else for my special events and sweet tooth needs from now on!

I think I stopped at their Holiday Happening booth each day and bought a piece of pumpkin roll(even for breakfast one day!). Krista is so sweet and helpful! Definitely recommended.
