I grew up going to Brukners with my grandparents, maybe thats why every time I visit as an adult, I am so incredibly happy that it is still a beautiful place. In the 20+ years Ive been stopping by the trails have always been in great shape and the education just keeps getting better. There is a lot of time and care poured into this place and Im excited that one day I can take my kids here and they will be just in love it! Great for a stroll or easy hike, everything from grassy open areas, pine forest and down into a creek/gorge area. There is an old house open to look around, animals for viewing(the crows even talk), inside they have special bird watching rooms and educational animals. Check their schedule for events that happen through the year, just missed the maple sugar festival. Definitely help support this place!

What is not to like about a nature center? I love the parts with the pine trees and the very soft pine needle cover. I also remember taking some very sick animals we found after the blizzard of 79 here and they were very helpful. An added plus is they are on Horseshoe Bend Road, probably the best road in Miami County.

Great Nature Center. Plenty to see, hands on exhibits, outside animal sanctuary, log cabin, plenty of nature trails, bird watching, local night astronomy club, and other monthly guided informational hikes. Wonderful place to take the kids.
