This is a good hotel at a decent price. If you are visiting the Temple-Inland facility in Diboll, it’s about 15 minutes’ drive from this hotel.
Two complaints:
1) The tap water smells and tastes like sulfur. However, that’s a regional problem here & there’s not much the hotel can do about it. I suggest driving five minutes’ north on Highway 59 & buying some bottled water at the Shell/Crown Colony Food Mart before checking in. Then you only have to deal with the smell in your shower.
2) My iPhone5 had no Verizon cell coverage in my room. Whaaaat?

I recently stayed here while attending a graduation at Angelina College.
I have no complaints. The prices were better than the rest, the rooms were spotless, and the staff was friendly.
The complimentary breakfast was full of choices and tasted great!
