I have used Lufkin’s Gateway Tire for a number of years. It is one of Lufkin’s premier companies. The managers are knowledgeable and, as others have noted, have no problems going into the bays and getting their hands dirty. Work is done in a timely manner and when the job is complete one of the managers thoroughly explains what work was performed and why.

Went in because I had a screw in my tire. They were friendly, quick, and didn’t even charge me to remove the screw! Glad I didn’t need a new tire, but when I do, I will know where to go… This is definitely my new tire shop!!!

Wayne and his team are great !! I really like the way I am treated as a guest in their business. The managers dirty hands means he is working just as hard as his guys. The 5 cars in the family get excellent care here and the price is always right. Tires, tire repair and minor auto fixes can be had without fear of getting taken advantage of.

I’m surprised that no one has reviewed this place yet! I found a screw embedded in the driver rear tire of my brand new car, and my friend recommended Gateway because «everyone there is so nice!» My friend did not lie =] I walked into the building to friendly hellos. When I asked how much it would be to repair my tire, the technician said, «Don’t worry about it. We’ll do it for free.» If this is their way to ensure my future business with them, it worked. I am totally coming back.
