Great barbershop of you let one of the ladies cut your hair. If you let Craig cut it, you will look like you’ve just enlisted in the military. The first time I let him cut my hair, I explained to him how I like it the same way I have to every other person who has cut my hair and came out with an extremely high and tight military haircut. The second time, I thoroughly explained what I wanted and what happened last time. You face away from the mirrors while they are cutting, but as soon as the clippers ran up the back of my head I had a bad feeling. Sure enough, when he handed me the mirror to check it out, I nearly died. The exact same thing as last time. I think it’s all he knows.

I’ve been going for a year and a half now. These days, it’s hard to find barber who can do anything but a trim or a fade. These folks can give you a classic fade, etc. Especially good for middle aged guys.

I’ve been going here for several years now. Very comfortable environment, up to three barbers — it’s rare to have to wait more than 15 minutes(although I guess that depends on when you visit). The straight razor gets sharpened every other year and the sissors are reasonably straight. Craig and company are personable, hardly ever have alcohol on their breath and none of them shake real bad. I always look better on my way out — no easy task. Clearly, they have to be on their game to make that happen. I took one star off because there isn’t a bar for the customers. The only place I trust to trim my Red Dress Run wig…

Your typical no-frills barber shop. I love the small-town atmosphere, love the barbers themselves, love that they even have a small area with toys for the kids to play with while waiting(and wait you will, especially on Fridays, because it’s a first-come-first-serve kinda place). My kiddo had his first two haircuts here(this review has obviously been a long time coming, he’s almost four now), and our barber saved my a$$ on the first one by asking if I wanted a lock of hair for his baby book… in all the picture-taking and nervousness I had completely forgotten all about it. I think I tipped her seven bucks for a thirteen dollar cut just because of that, haha. They’re not set up very well for kids in the actual chairs though. The setup was a little shaky, he was slightly unstable, and we were both a little nervous about the whole thing. The cuts themselves were just fine, though, and I absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to take him back there in a pinch now that he’s a little older and more stable on his own. I got a cut there once as well, on a whim, and it was fine also. Nothing special, and my thick hair really would have preferred to have been washed or even wet down thoroughly, but it was simple shoulder-length cut with some long layers, so there wasn’t too much that could go wrong. Decent cut at a decent price with some decent folks. Not too shabby, you know? :)

Great, old fashioned barber shop. Grab a magazine and a seat, it won’t be long before you’re in the chair. Three barbers. I had Craig and he was very friendly and personable, and did a great job. Haircuts are inexpensive, with $ 13 for a regular haircut, $ 15 for a flat top, and $ 20 for a head shave with a straight razor. No appointments, just walk in and wait your turn. Great place.
