The service here is honestly so awesome and helpful. The outside of the place is so cute and crafty and so is the inside. They have everything you need and its not too expensive either. I received a Pandora bracelet from here the other day and the size was way too big, I just brought it in and they switched the sizes without an issue. I love this store, I wish they had more in different locations.

So glad I found The Basketry! I’m from California and wanted to have a custom gift basket delivered to a family member for their birthday while in New Orleans on business, and Natalie did a fantastic job with the basket, and went above and beyond helping me with all the details. What an easy, and pleasant experience.

So lovely! The owner worked with me to create the perfect basket to send to my fiancé and his buddies for their bachelor party in NOLA.
I checked out their website and wanted to do a mix and match of several of their baskets. I gave them a call and Kristi worked with me so patiently to create EXACTLY what I wanted. She even texted me a photo of it before she wrapped it to ensure it was all I wanted.
They were totally floored by it and loved everything. I couldn’t be more pleased. This is the perfect thing to send to someone living or visiting New Orleans!

This store is very over crowded and over priced with merchandise. None of the store employees are nice or friendly. Don’t waste your time unless you have a big budget for junk items.

The Basketry is spectacular and it is my absolute favorite store! It has everything you can think of. Each time I visit to shop, it is like an entirely new store with a large variety of new merchandise. The items are very unique and unexpected. I get gift baskets made here for almost every occasion and they literally make the greatest, most memorable gifts! The staff is pleasant, helpful, and creative. They also offer delivery services. How awesome is that? I highly recommend this store.

This store is one of my very favorites! Great selection of local and unique gifts, plus having the option to have your items made into a gift basket. You can find everything from baby gifts to Pandora jewelry to kitchen décor, there is something for everyone! The staff is always very friendly and helpful! Definitely give The Basketry a visit!

Their new shop is bigger & better — Lots of great gifts from Pandora to ornaments to Home Décor to baby cloths, Vera Bradley to Kameleon Jewelry, wine, to cookbooks to snacks, Lampe Berger, Poo-​Pouri (greatest invention EVER!!!), great sports paraphernalia — just take your time & look around & go around again! You will be amazed at all the great items! Alot of great local flavor all OVER the shop!

Not only do they have great great objects all around — but they make gift baskets — I have had a couple made for gifts & they are created so FANTABULOUSLY!!! The great thing too is — you can say ‘here is my price range — I am looking for the sports man, or the cooker, or the hard to buy person in my life’ & they will create a GREAT basket for you!

Take advantage of the free gift wrapping too — one less thing for you to do! It is a gorgeous shop & you can find TONS of great gifts … & if you bring your honey — they even have a little seat outside for him to rest & not crowd you so you can enjoy & browse to your hearts desire (it will be awhile! :-))
