Not that gas stations are ever going to be mistaken as bastions of cleanliness and order, but you normally have at least some sense of standards except for this Dobb’s which is clearly trying dig a new basement so that they can drop their«standards» even lower as I doubt a nickel has been spent to clean or maintain this place since the ‘80s. Bathrooms = complete filth with no TP& mystery stained sink. Gas Pump = so worn that I had to guess what grade of fuel I was choosing since on pump #2(I think) the plastic cover with the 87, 89 and 93 on it have all been worn away from decades of use. Add in garbage on the ground along with various dark vehicular lubrication stains all over and you are literally praying to just get in and get out while your Hazmat suit keeps out the funk and filth.(You do carry a Hazmat suit in your car, right?) On the funny side, kudos to the night clerk who referred to the area residents of Lumberton as «freaks» when I asked why the store had an entire refrigerator section devoted to just Mountain Dew products.
