It was aweful there were little German roaches everywhere in the room. I could not imagine what that kitchen at that restaurant looks like. GROSS

I read the negative reviews but saw that the manager responded to each one and I thought«they said they are making improvements, maybe this will be ok». Not so much. I told them upon my arrival about reading the negative reviews but giving them a chance anyway. They were thankful and said they were giving me their best room. Not the best room — rips in the chairs and kinda dirty in general. Used condom wrapper on the floor sticking out from under the bed. We told them about the wrapper and they said«sorry». During the night we noticed the toilet running. My hubby got up to fix it and took the back off of the toilet tank. He succeeded and we fell back to sleep. Upon waking up I saw that the toilet tank was COVERED in mold! When we went to the front desk to tell them about it we were made to wait for about 30 minutes. There was no one at the front desk for about 15 minutes and then that person had to go wake someone up to assist us with our mold concern. They offered us $ 15 dollars reimbursement. They were barely apologetic.

Two stories, interior and exterior entrances, restaurant and lounge on premises, outdoor seasonal pool. Property has been around since the 70s or 80s. Not sure all the brands that have been at this location, but I know at one time it was a Quality Inn and a Ramada Inn before being branded as Econo Lodge about 3 years ago. Positives: Comfortable bed, quiet stay, newer tv, and room was clean. Heat/ac unit worked well. Night time desk clerk was very polite and professional. Negatives: It is an older property, and lacking in available power outlets for travelers. The only one that is easy to reach is in the bathroom, which is not feasible for things like plugging in a laptop computer. I had to move the microfridge over a bit and unplug the coffee machine in order to find two outlets on a power strip for my devices. The furnishings, while functional, are aged and dinged up a bit. The worst problem was with the daytime front desk clerk, who is either not trained in customer service and handing situations promptly or is lazy and thinks she can ignore customer concerns. I had to call twice to have one concern addressed, and another concerned I addressed with her was not handled at all. I had to speak with the night time clerk once I returned from work, who immediately apologized for the problem(something the day clerk never did) and handled the situation. Bottom line: if you travel for work and are looking for a discounted rate and a place to rest, this may be fine for you. I would not suggest this place for families or vacationers looking for a stopover while driving I 95. If your business travel requires you to have a place to meet clients, I would choose another hotel.
