The chicken chaufa is amazing! I always get it spicy(it’s not really spicy anyway). They recently started giving less rice per order, but it still gets me 2 meals. I also tried the chicken and rice, which was pretty good, but the chicken was too dry on the inside. Just get the chaufa and you’ll never be disappointed :)

Good Peruvian food in a area where it’s hard to find, a little pricey but good choices.

I honestly think this place is overrated. I was so excited to move to South Jersey and found that there was a Peruvian cuizine restaurant and then disappointed by how average the food was and we have eaten here multiple times. SalchiPapa’s are good, Pollo milanese was good as well, but the Pollo a large brasa is always just okay which is so disappointing. Service is good too but there it is an older woman who can be extremely rude. But if you’re in the mood for Peruvian food this should hit the spot.

Pro: A good plate of food indeed! Usually when I try Peruvian food, I go with the Lomo Saltado. However, the staff convinced me to try out the Arroz Con Pollo; it did not disappoint! The jalapeño hot sauce on the side made it even that much better! Good portion sizes too! Con: A bit pricey for a lunch($ 17 for food and a bottled water). Also, the food took a while to arrive to the table, despite a relatively empty place. A good thing takes time, I suppose. Bottom Line: Good stuff, will try the Lomo next visit!

Food is fresh and delicious… But. If your in a huge hurry order ahead may take. 5 to 10 min to get your order. But its definately worth the wait

Great food. Order ahead and pick it up to avoid the wait. Ask for recommendations based on your food preferences and go with whatever they recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

I have eaten here a couple times and am never disappointed. The service is always great and beyond that they are helpful in explaining their food and cheerful! The food itself is amazing. I can’t honestly speak to the authenticity of the food but it is without a doubt delicious. While you may not get the same portion size that you could expect at other places when it comes to their wraps the freshness and taste more than make up for that. You are doing yourself a disservice if you haven’t tried this place out yet.

So the reason I didn’t not give 5 stars isn’t because the food isn’t great, it is, it’s just extremely overpriced. Just for a side of rice it’s 6 $. That’s pricey for a scoop of rice. The rice is full of flavor and I really do love it so of course I order it anyhow. The chicken is amazingly flavorful. Only problem I had with the chicken is it’s dry. It’s been a multiple occasions thing where it has been dry. Every time I have ordered it actually. If you want a nice home cooked meal I wild recommend. The staff is friendly and efficient, just be ready to pay.

Like a home cooked meal! Sweet folks, fast and kind service, big portions, and so delicious I ate too much. Ordered the Seco with side of platanos. Can’t wait to go back and try the chicken.

Truth be told this is the only Peruvian food I’ve ever eaten, so I’m not quite sure I’m qualified to review a «Peruvian» restaurant, but here goes… This place is good… REALGOOD!!! We live nearby and stop often, and I don’t think there’s much on their menu I haven’t tried. Always the freshest ingredients, served quickly and presented beautifully… and extremely budget friendly! My favorite here is the beef burrito, but I also love the Peruvian chicken, oh and that chicken wrap, and the salads… mmmm, ok I’m hungry now. Delicious soups, smoothies, and desserts too(OMG try the tres leches cake!). Keep up the great work!

They have Peruvian Chicken here! I’m not sure why there aren’t more places around here that serve Peruvian Chicken, it beats the pants off rotisserie chicken from other places like Boston Market or your local supermarket. It comes with this very tasty green sauce that you can dip your chicken into. Yummy. I also tried the arroz con pollo which the person there said was popular on saturdays. Not sure why it would be more popular on saturdays but it was very nicely flavored. I think that’s what sets the chicken here apart… flavor!

I never expected to find good Peruvian food in a small town like Lumberton. Mango’s proved that notion wrong as they make ridiculously good authentic Peruvian food with prominent Latin flavors. I ordered the lomo saltado as it’s a popular and traditional Peruvian dish. It was simply incredible, so flavorful and so tasty. I enjoyed this meal with a side of platanos and a cold Inca Kola. The Peruvian chicken, tres leche cake and smoothies are good too. I highly recommend this place as Mango’s gives us locals a unique dining experience.

Delicious chicken and rice. My mouth is watering just thinking of the maduros, too. They seem to offer wraps but your cheating your mouth if your not getting the rice and chicken. It seems like a local spot to practice your salsa or bachata on certain nights!

Just based off of my first and only experience for lunch, I will absolutely be back. I got a steak fajita here that made me want to walk to the back and slap the cook, it was so good. Mangoes is peruvian food, or american food with a peruvian twist, and the menu is pretty massive. The store itself was clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly. Great first experience.

It’s the only place I have found for Peruvian food in the Tri-State area. Fortunately, it’s pretty tasty! I only get the Peruvian chicken with Spanish rice. I just wish the Spanish rice was more moist, but overall it definitely satisfies my craving. The hot sauce is so flavorful and so good, but a little goes a long way, so be careful! Smoothies are to die for. A little pricey to eat lunch here often, but I’ll definitely be back.
