This puppet show is awesome! Everything about this place is wonderful for families and kids. You can’t beat the ticket prices, AND every performance they have a raffle for the kiddos where they can win a prize from the famous treasure chest. If you don’t win a prize, all the kids can pick a small prize from the treasure chest inside the gift shop! All of the puppet shows have a central message that are great lessons for kids to learn. All of the staff is very accommodating to families, especially Mr. Jeff! If you’re hungry they have snacks and drinks at a very low cost. If you arrive before the show and have some time or even after, they have an enchanted garden that you can explore. After the show the staff is available to talk to you about the puppets and show the kids how the puppets work. Hands down this place is so fun and I’m sure your kids will love it!

The family visited the Drawbridge puppet theatre this afternoon. We had passed it a few times and thought it would be a great weekend excursion. The theatre has public performances every Sat and Sun at 11am and 1pm. Each performance has 2 shows and lasts about an hour total. The show encompasses marionettes, hand puppets, and shadow puppets. This month’s performances were«The Three Goats Gruff» and«The Frog Prince». Before the show, the host came out and talked to kids about the stories they were going to see and about the types of puppets they would be using. It was a great interactive educational session for the kids. After the show, the host demonstrated some of the puppets used in the show and allowed the audience to tour the backstage area and meet with the puppeteers. Tickets only cost $ 5 for all ages. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the theatre or their website(via Paypal). Highly recommended!
