My family of 4 took a 2 hour ATV trip. Got off to a rocky start – VERY difficult to contact for booking. After multiple calls, messages left and even an email, we never got a return call or email but were just lucky someone answered the phone once. Also there was no guidance by phone or on the website regarding what to wear, etc. When we went to the office at the time of our trip it was obvious that the woman who seems to serve as the admin just ignores the phone ringing – it rang maybe 6 times while we were there and she didn’t answer once! Once we got to the ATVing area we met our guide Matt, who was awesome! So nice and patient when teaching is how to ride, and just generally seemed like a really nice guy. We rented 2 ATVs and a UTV. Cost $ 750 for 2 hours which is kind of insane – and they don’t have prices posted anywhere so I have no idea if this is the standard charge or if they«customize» their prices. Supposedly it included tax and tip, but of course we had to give an additional tip because we felt uncomfortable – saw others doing that as well. A fun thing to do once.

We had an absolute blast celebrating my sister’s bachelorette with Appalachian Adventures! The ATV ride was fun and exciting! Our guide Franchesca was super sweet and helpful! She kept us safe but also allowed us a little freedom to do our thing! She also went above and beyond and took fun photos of us riding through the mud and at places along the trail with nice views! I highly recommend visiting them for your next adventure!!!

We had 2 hour ATV tour today. The desk team were very accommodating working with us when a family member wasn’t able to make the tour due to injury before getting there. The tour itself was a blast, we got to crawl all over the mountain every which way! Tia was an excellent guide and a lot of fun to hang around! We’ll be back!

My dad and I went there for a couple of days of good fun. We rented ATVs and a cabin from Appalachian Adventures. The ATV trip was great. The guide assessed our abilities and modified the trip to suit our desires along with making sure we wouldn’t kill ourselves. He took us through a bunch of rocky areas, deep water, and steep hills. The ATVs were a little worn, but met our needs perfectly — though my dad’s muffler did fall off. The cabin was a beautiful little one bedroom with a pullout sofa out in the middle of nowhere. When I say in the middle of nowhere, it was 8 – 10 miles of gravel road to get there and my GPS only told me that the roads were never evaluated. The place was clean, had cold AC, and met all of our needs. The biggest complaint is that there were no linens nor any towels and we weren’t told ahead of time. I would definitely go again. Had a great time. Next time, I’ll bring towels.
