Went in to see if they were interested in buying some of my aunt’s furs and accessories. The entire transaction was wonderful. Although they had no interest in some of the items, they helped me donate them and gave me a receipt for their value. I left knowing that they may go to some good in helping a local charity and with a little cash in pocket. They were so welcoming and kind from the moment I walked through the door. Would highly recommend this store to everyone.

I used Mano Swartz to sell my mother-in-law’s fur coat and boa and they were great from start to finish. The process of dropping off, assessing the worth and setting up and account was easy and efficient. Richard was very easygoing and enjoyable to work with which was much needed at that busy time in our lives while dealing with her death and property. Thank you!

Expensive compared to others in the area ie Demetrios Furs in Timonium. Purchased a fur from Ruth’s Closet and was informed that monogram would be free… that was definitely NOT the case and Richard was not accomodating nor sympathetic at all. Needlesss to say I wanted to make my mother happy but it would have been alot cheaper to have it monogrammed at furs by Demetrios and storage is almost half of what Mano Swartz charges! All in all, we have purchased many furs from Demetrios, Canada, and several fur stores in New York and New Jersey…(in fact Marc Kaufman has some nice pieces if you are in the New York area).some which are no longer in business… definitely shop around you can find better prices… tried to sell me a honey chinchilla jacket for TWICE the price($ 5000 more) of another furrier… moral of the story. I went with my sister to store her fur and wrap away for the season. The staff is very nice. There was a young lady standing at the entrance to greet us as we entered. There was a guy(security maybe) standing around watching the parking lot and watching customers as they entered and exited the store. There was another young lady in making sure every was ok and assisting folks if they wanted to try on any of the merchandise. The young lady who assisted my sister gave us both a really cute fur heart keychain. I tried on a fur. It was very nice. The prices of the sale item were excellent. I will definitely go back — I might even get a fur.

Mano Swartz sets the bar for stellar customer service! I live in Texas and will always use them as my furrier. Not because Texas doesn’t have furriers, but because Richard and his staff certainly make it worth sending my coat and wrap half way across the country for the best service I have ever received. My mother used Mano Swartz for more than 15 years. A year ago, she decided that she no longer wanter her black mink coat and took it to Mano Swartz for it to receive a #ManoMakeover. They did a beautiful job turning her coat into a gorgeous vest for me and a jacket for my sister in Chicago. My mother received a pair of earmuffs from the extra material/fur. The quality of my vest is perfect. With the zipper and two pockets, no one would ever know that my vest was made from another piece. During one of my trips to Maryland, I tripped and tore the lining inside my mink. I called Richard and they were able to repair the coat the next day. Their team truly is incredible. You will not find service like this anywhere else, especially not anywhere from Maryland to Texas!

I’m not sure where to begin other than this store does not only deliver but focuses on and truly understands their clients. I first found Mano Swartz when my dog took a dislike to a fur pillow I had. They fixed it brilliantly. Because of that experience, I turned to them to create an heirloom. My sister was turning 50 and for the past decade since inheriting my mothers mink that she knew she would never wear, she talked about having a blanket made from the coat. I sent it to Mano Swartz after speaking with Richard who totally understood what I wanted. They not only produced the most amazing«throw», but took the time and effort to design an elegant and understated edging that I didn’t even notice at first. But it makes the piece truly unique and stunning. They even took the time and care to incorporate my mothers monogram and tag that was inside the coat on the backing of the throw. Seriously? I cannot tell you just how much that will mean to my sister. If only it could be mine! Communications was amazing… and I can tell you that I have my mother in laws mink hanging in my closet which will very shortly become another heirloom thanks to Mano Swartz. I welcome any questions from those reading this.

I went to Mano Swartz to have three furs appraised for my mother’s estate. I was greeted warmly and immediately. The appraisals were done, printed and I wasn’t charged for this service. Pleased as punch!

I was first introduced to Mano Swartz Furs at the New Carrollton location during one of their weekend sales. This was 5 or 6 years ago, I looked around, then went to retail fur establishments in a couple of the local malls during their sales, and there was no comparison — Mano Swartz Furs had them beat — both in pricing and quality of merchandise. Another advantage in working with a furrier such as Mano Swartz is the customization possible. I am currently having an old heavy mink coat reconfigured to meet what I want now at this time in my life. I was able to go to their offices and speak one on one with them to discuss what I wanted. A personal bonus to me is that It is another way to recycle and not waste a fur that time had passed by. Summed up — the merchandise is great, the personnel are easy to work with, and the prices are very competitive.
