Although Dr. Witham came highly regarded; I would not personally recommend him after seeing him for a consultation. During my consultation; a ¼ of his time was spent personal texting. Now one might reason that it was professionally related except I swear he played an attached video because I heard what sounded like kids coming from the phone. Turn your phone off buddy! Especially if your going to bilk the customer for what you charged. In regards to the actual findings and recommendations; not. 1. It was my impression that he was not actually listening to what I was saying. 2. When he did listen; he discounted what I was saying as being unrelated. 3. Did not actually review my MRI/CT in the room with me so who knows if he actually looked at it or just got a summary from his Fellow. Lastly and MOST importantly was the fact that he charged my insurance company $ 750 for a 30 minute consultation; I kid you not! Witham was my second opinion and the first neurosurgeon sat with me for 45 minutes reviewing the MRI and CT that I brought along. Guess what the other neurosurgeon charged? $ 73 dollars.
